Chapter 2834
Saigen City had a windy winter. The winds would stir the snowflakes and blow on their faces. It made them feel even colder.
Denise, thinking she heard wrongly, looked up at Sean with eyes that looked lost.
The snowflakes blew on her face and made her skin tingle. The coldness, however, helped her regain some senses for her blurred mind.
She stuttered, “Y–You…”
“I said.” Sean took a deep breath and looked at Denise with his deep, dark eyes. “If your really need to find someone to sleep with tonight, why not me? I’m a man too. Compared to those men in the slums, I’m cleaner as well.”
Denise bit her lip as her gaze became muddled. At that moment, she did not know how to face Sean. She knew it better than anyone else Sean was saying this to help her, but…this felt like an insult, too.
It was as though she was a dirty woman who would sleep with anyone.
The complex feeling only lingered in her heart for a short while before she laughed bitterly. To be frank, she did not blame Sean for saying that. There was no difference between her and women who would sleep with any man.
Ever since she started to plot against Thomas, she should have known she would end up with this consequence. The malice she brought onto herself was the hardest to bear. She could have chosen to live a life that was dignified and honorable. Instead, she allowed herself to be in this situation after being instigated and induced by other people.
She looked at Sean. “Alright. Since we’ve known each other, I’ll even spend more time with you.”
Regardless of what, she was about to humiliate and insult herself. There was no
difference, so she might as well start with Sean. She would at least have a relatively good time with him today.
Moreover, Sean was right too. He was cleaner and more handsome compared to the men from the slums. If Denise had not gone through what she did, she might have fallen in love at first sight with him.

The readers' comments on the novel: Will you marry me, My Ex-Wife (Luna and Joshua)
Luna is sooo stupid!...
This story line is sickening… her children, Nellie in particular, do not like Malcolm. She is already married to Joshua, the father of her children who loves her more than Malcolm ever could. Just disgusting....
Another “misunderstanding”…… poor Luna, why can’t she just say the Quinns kidnapped me instead of assuming Joshua is doing the wrong thing. Terrible....
I sure hope Aura gets arrested and pays for her many crimes soon, along with Adrian and Michael. Joshua and Luna need peace with their children....
Joshua is stupid, he says he loves Luna but refuses to tell her the truth thinking he can never recover from all the deceit, if he told the truth he could redeem himself and live a happy life with his family rather than continue to protect a bunch of evil criminals. Terrible decisions by a man who is smart enough to run a multi faceted company....
Omg this author is twisted!! When does Luna catch a break! This is awful. Aurasnd Fiona are evil, evil women and are using the children to commit their crimes 🤬...
And now the author has made it sound like he cares more for Fiona who he has only known a couple of weeks than Luna, his wife, the love of his life. Stupid and pathetically disgusting....
Wow, making Joshua out to be so stupid, ugh. Yes he told this horrible bitch he would accompany her until she died, but she lied about her fake illness so I guess he’ll have to live with her forever! He also promised to love, honor and cherish his wife Luna however seems to forget that with each passing malicious mistress, Aura, Alice and now Fiona. Awful. Let’s get past this into some storyline that involves some happiness for Luna… the only woman who truly cares for and loves him. Get rid of Fiona, soon....
So disgusted with this Fiona storyline, hope it doesn’t last much longer. Joshua told her when they made the deal he had someone in his heart and would not sleep with her. They could be faking a relationship and he doesn’t have to be so nasty to Luna and the kids. It’s heartbreaking and giving him another ridiculous relationship is unnecessary. Just makes more misunderstandings for Luna and harder for her to forgive him....
Joshua is in the wrong, even if Fiona asked him to keep their fake relationship a secret he should have told Luna what was going on. After all, supposedly he lives Luna and the children and is doing this for them. Being deceiving is not working for him....
