Chapter 2851
Steven was even more outraged when he heard this.
It was true, he had always been mild–mannered, but this was only subject to people he respected!
The man standing before him not only took advantage of his sister but even made her cry!
Denise was a strong, independent girl; she would never cry unless something terrible happened.
This man must have taken advantage of her!
At this thought, Steven narrowed his eyes, and a glimmer of malice flashed through them. “I don’t have to be mild–mannered to an asshole like you!”
As he said this, he slammed Sean’s hand out of the way and brought his fist toward his face.
Initially, Sean had not been afraid at all. After all, the man before him only possessed Luke’s physique. He was still a weak, nerdy scholar at the core and thus would not be much of a threat at all.
However, he underestimated Steven.
Steven’s force was so strong that he bent Sean’s arm backward and, a split second later, Sean failed to hold him back.
He staggered backward in an attempt to resist Steven’s attack, and seeing that the two of them were about to break out into a fight, Gwen glanced at Denise, frowning. “Aren’t you going to do something?”
One of them was Denise’s brother, and the other was the man she had spent the night with.
Why was she not stopping them from fighting over her?
Denise, who had been deep in thought, was pulled back to reality at the sound of Gwen’s voice.
She instinctively glanced in Sean and Steven’s direction.
When she caught sight of what was happening, her eyes widened in shock, and she lunged forward to grab hold of Steven’s arm. “What on earth are you doing, Steven? Sean didn’t take advantage of me–he
didn’t!”
Steven furrowed his brow but did not relent. “What do you mean? Why were you crying, then? You were crying when you called me just now, wasn’t that because of him?”

The readers' comments on the novel: Will you marry me, My Ex-Wife (Luna and Joshua)
Luna is sooo stupid!...
This story line is sickening… her children, Nellie in particular, do not like Malcolm. She is already married to Joshua, the father of her children who loves her more than Malcolm ever could. Just disgusting....
Another “misunderstanding”…… poor Luna, why can’t she just say the Quinns kidnapped me instead of assuming Joshua is doing the wrong thing. Terrible....
I sure hope Aura gets arrested and pays for her many crimes soon, along with Adrian and Michael. Joshua and Luna need peace with their children....
Joshua is stupid, he says he loves Luna but refuses to tell her the truth thinking he can never recover from all the deceit, if he told the truth he could redeem himself and live a happy life with his family rather than continue to protect a bunch of evil criminals. Terrible decisions by a man who is smart enough to run a multi faceted company....
Omg this author is twisted!! When does Luna catch a break! This is awful. Aurasnd Fiona are evil, evil women and are using the children to commit their crimes 🤬...
And now the author has made it sound like he cares more for Fiona who he has only known a couple of weeks than Luna, his wife, the love of his life. Stupid and pathetically disgusting....
Wow, making Joshua out to be so stupid, ugh. Yes he told this horrible bitch he would accompany her until she died, but she lied about her fake illness so I guess he’ll have to live with her forever! He also promised to love, honor and cherish his wife Luna however seems to forget that with each passing malicious mistress, Aura, Alice and now Fiona. Awful. Let’s get past this into some storyline that involves some happiness for Luna… the only woman who truly cares for and loves him. Get rid of Fiona, soon....
So disgusted with this Fiona storyline, hope it doesn’t last much longer. Joshua told her when they made the deal he had someone in his heart and would not sleep with her. They could be faking a relationship and he doesn’t have to be so nasty to Luna and the kids. It’s heartbreaking and giving him another ridiculous relationship is unnecessary. Just makes more misunderstandings for Luna and harder for her to forgive him....
Joshua is in the wrong, even if Fiona asked him to keep their fake relationship a secret he should have told Luna what was going on. After all, supposedly he lives Luna and the children and is doing this for them. Being deceiving is not working for him....
