Chapter 2909
Luna only realized something was wrong after the words came out of her mouth.
She had just met Vanessa that day and had only exchanged a few words of introduction.
Therefore, asking Vanessa about her relationship status was no doubt rather abrupt and even downright rude.
Just as she was about to apologize, however, Vanessa smiled. “Of course I do.”
She glanced in Jude’s direction, holding her cup, and curled her lips into a smile. “If I didn’t, why would I be so desperate to marry him?”
Luna paused and suddenly recalled what Jude had previously said to her.
He had told her that Vanessa had used plenty of deceiving tricks to get him to marry her, including chasing the woman he loved out of town, poisoning him, and even sleeping with him during his intoxicated state.
Luna furrowed her brow at this thought. “You…”
“Are you going to ask me if I tried to trick him into marrying me?” Vanessa smiled when she saw the uneasy look on Luna’s face and volunteered the information herself. “Do you even believe me if I say I didn’t?”
Luna paused, then glanced at the earnest look in Vanessa’s eyes and nodded. “I believe you.” Even though she had not come across many people in her time and had even previously trusted the wrong people, her gut feeling was telling her that Vanessa was not as deceitful as Jude claimed. On the contrary, she thought that this woman was fairly straightforward and seemed to have her heart on her sleeve.
If she was truly as evil and wicked as Jude claimed, Vanessa would not have volunteered to help so eagerly and even willingly got in touch with Willow, someone whom she had not talked to in a long time.
Not only that, but she would never have stared at Jude with such a look in her eyes.
Luna had a feeling that Jude must have misunderstood this woman.
“Thank you.” Vanessa smiled. “Well, I do hope you’re not just saying this because I’m helping you.”

The readers' comments on the novel: Will you marry me, My Ex-Wife (Luna and Joshua)
Luna is sooo stupid!...
This story line is sickening… her children, Nellie in particular, do not like Malcolm. She is already married to Joshua, the father of her children who loves her more than Malcolm ever could. Just disgusting....
Another “misunderstanding”…… poor Luna, why can’t she just say the Quinns kidnapped me instead of assuming Joshua is doing the wrong thing. Terrible....
I sure hope Aura gets arrested and pays for her many crimes soon, along with Adrian and Michael. Joshua and Luna need peace with their children....
Joshua is stupid, he says he loves Luna but refuses to tell her the truth thinking he can never recover from all the deceit, if he told the truth he could redeem himself and live a happy life with his family rather than continue to protect a bunch of evil criminals. Terrible decisions by a man who is smart enough to run a multi faceted company....
Omg this author is twisted!! When does Luna catch a break! This is awful. Aurasnd Fiona are evil, evil women and are using the children to commit their crimes 🤬...
And now the author has made it sound like he cares more for Fiona who he has only known a couple of weeks than Luna, his wife, the love of his life. Stupid and pathetically disgusting....
Wow, making Joshua out to be so stupid, ugh. Yes he told this horrible bitch he would accompany her until she died, but she lied about her fake illness so I guess he’ll have to live with her forever! He also promised to love, honor and cherish his wife Luna however seems to forget that with each passing malicious mistress, Aura, Alice and now Fiona. Awful. Let’s get past this into some storyline that involves some happiness for Luna… the only woman who truly cares for and loves him. Get rid of Fiona, soon....
So disgusted with this Fiona storyline, hope it doesn’t last much longer. Joshua told her when they made the deal he had someone in his heart and would not sleep with her. They could be faking a relationship and he doesn’t have to be so nasty to Luna and the kids. It’s heartbreaking and giving him another ridiculous relationship is unnecessary. Just makes more misunderstandings for Luna and harder for her to forgive him....
Joshua is in the wrong, even if Fiona asked him to keep their fake relationship a secret he should have told Luna what was going on. After all, supposedly he lives Luna and the children and is doing this for them. Being deceiving is not working for him....
