Chapter 2916
Vanessa had just sent Willow away when Luna’s phone rang. Both of them sat on the chair and prayed that Anne was alright while looking in the direction where Willow left.
It was John calling Luna’s phone.
“Is everything alright?” Once the call connected, Luna anxiously asked, “Did you find Anne?” “Yes.” John’s voice sounded…cold on the other end of the line. “Anne is dead.”
Luna’s blood froze upon hearing this information. She grasped the phone so tightly that her hand shivered. Tears poured out of her eyes, and her voice quivered as she said, “John, is…this some kind of joke?”
“Do you think I’d make such a joke with you?” snarled John. “When we arrived at the hospital, the doctor said Anne had lost too much blood and that we were too late. There was no use
saving her anymore.
“Remember this, Luna: Anne’s death is on you.”
If Luna and Joshua did not choose to return, and if Luna did not insist on going shopping…
If Luna was not curious about what Jacqueline and James talked about…
None of this would have happened.
He looked at his wife’s cold dead body, and all there was in his mind was hatred. He hated Luna, Joshua, Jacqueline, and Willow.
He also hated Vanessa. He hated everyone involved in Anne’s death.
Sammie, their daughter, had just turned one. They should have been living for a wonderful future ahead of them!
Everything changed. The simple happy life he looked forward to was gone.

The readers' comments on the novel: Will you marry me, My Ex-Wife (Luna and Joshua)
Luna is sooo stupid!...
This story line is sickening… her children, Nellie in particular, do not like Malcolm. She is already married to Joshua, the father of her children who loves her more than Malcolm ever could. Just disgusting....
Another “misunderstanding”…… poor Luna, why can’t she just say the Quinns kidnapped me instead of assuming Joshua is doing the wrong thing. Terrible....
I sure hope Aura gets arrested and pays for her many crimes soon, along with Adrian and Michael. Joshua and Luna need peace with their children....
Joshua is stupid, he says he loves Luna but refuses to tell her the truth thinking he can never recover from all the deceit, if he told the truth he could redeem himself and live a happy life with his family rather than continue to protect a bunch of evil criminals. Terrible decisions by a man who is smart enough to run a multi faceted company....
Omg this author is twisted!! When does Luna catch a break! This is awful. Aurasnd Fiona are evil, evil women and are using the children to commit their crimes 🤬...
And now the author has made it sound like he cares more for Fiona who he has only known a couple of weeks than Luna, his wife, the love of his life. Stupid and pathetically disgusting....
Wow, making Joshua out to be so stupid, ugh. Yes he told this horrible bitch he would accompany her until she died, but she lied about her fake illness so I guess he’ll have to live with her forever! He also promised to love, honor and cherish his wife Luna however seems to forget that with each passing malicious mistress, Aura, Alice and now Fiona. Awful. Let’s get past this into some storyline that involves some happiness for Luna… the only woman who truly cares for and loves him. Get rid of Fiona, soon....
So disgusted with this Fiona storyline, hope it doesn’t last much longer. Joshua told her when they made the deal he had someone in his heart and would not sleep with her. They could be faking a relationship and he doesn’t have to be so nasty to Luna and the kids. It’s heartbreaking and giving him another ridiculous relationship is unnecessary. Just makes more misunderstandings for Luna and harder for her to forgive him....
Joshua is in the wrong, even if Fiona asked him to keep their fake relationship a secret he should have told Luna what was going on. After all, supposedly he lives Luna and the children and is doing this for them. Being deceiving is not working for him....
