Chapter 2935
“What is she trying to say?” Joshua glanced coldly at Adrian as a sneer crossed his face. “Mr. Lynch, do you honestly think that Jacqueline, a beautiful woman in her twenties, would be willing to marry a man more than twice her age? Do you think you won her over with your irresistible charm somehow?”
He fixated his frosty gaze on Adrian’s face and said in a tone as cold as ice, “Do you think Jacqueline would have even given you a second glance if it weren’t for the fact that you’re Adrian Lynch, father of Joshua Lynch?”
Joshua’s tone was so sarcastic that some of the audience could not help snickering at this. The truth was, everyone knew that a woman in her twenties would never willingly marry a man twice her age, not unless she had ulterior motives, and especially not since Adrian was such a useless man.
When he was younger, he relied on Grandpa and Granny Lynch, then after he married Rianna, she became the head of the family, while he eventually became dependent on Joshua, their son.
Not only that, but he even changed his name to Adrian just so he could repay Rianna for helping him support the family.
His name Adrian was a portmanteau of Rianna’s name, and this symbolized that his entire heart belonged to her and only her.
Many years had passed, and this name became even more ironic in the setting of his wedding to another woman more than 20 years his junior.
The irony became even more apparent after Joshua and Celia exposed the truth about his involvement in Rianna’s murder.
“What nonsense!” Adrian, who was still under the delusion that he still possessed charming qualities despite being in his mid–fifties, could not believe his ears at all. He glared at Joshua and snarled, “Joshua, don’t try to discount Jacqueline’s love toward me! You can’t possibly understand our everlasting love, so don’t try to criticize us!”
Not only that, but after that, Adrian rarely returned home, so Luna was reluctant to address him as her father–in–law. ‘Mr. Lynch‘ was the more appropriate term when it came to their relationship.

The readers' comments on the novel: Will you marry me, My Ex-Wife (Luna and Joshua)
Luna is sooo stupid!...
This story line is sickening… her children, Nellie in particular, do not like Malcolm. She is already married to Joshua, the father of her children who loves her more than Malcolm ever could. Just disgusting....
Another “misunderstanding”…… poor Luna, why can’t she just say the Quinns kidnapped me instead of assuming Joshua is doing the wrong thing. Terrible....
I sure hope Aura gets arrested and pays for her many crimes soon, along with Adrian and Michael. Joshua and Luna need peace with their children....
Joshua is stupid, he says he loves Luna but refuses to tell her the truth thinking he can never recover from all the deceit, if he told the truth he could redeem himself and live a happy life with his family rather than continue to protect a bunch of evil criminals. Terrible decisions by a man who is smart enough to run a multi faceted company....
Omg this author is twisted!! When does Luna catch a break! This is awful. Aurasnd Fiona are evil, evil women and are using the children to commit their crimes 🤬...
And now the author has made it sound like he cares more for Fiona who he has only known a couple of weeks than Luna, his wife, the love of his life. Stupid and pathetically disgusting....
Wow, making Joshua out to be so stupid, ugh. Yes he told this horrible bitch he would accompany her until she died, but she lied about her fake illness so I guess he’ll have to live with her forever! He also promised to love, honor and cherish his wife Luna however seems to forget that with each passing malicious mistress, Aura, Alice and now Fiona. Awful. Let’s get past this into some storyline that involves some happiness for Luna… the only woman who truly cares for and loves him. Get rid of Fiona, soon....
So disgusted with this Fiona storyline, hope it doesn’t last much longer. Joshua told her when they made the deal he had someone in his heart and would not sleep with her. They could be faking a relationship and he doesn’t have to be so nasty to Luna and the kids. It’s heartbreaking and giving him another ridiculous relationship is unnecessary. Just makes more misunderstandings for Luna and harder for her to forgive him....
Joshua is in the wrong, even if Fiona asked him to keep their fake relationship a secret he should have told Luna what was going on. After all, supposedly he lives Luna and the children and is doing this for them. Being deceiving is not working for him....
