Joshua waved his hand to ask the staff beside the stage to carry Adrian, who passed out on the floor, away. He gave Jacqueline a cold look.
"Do you truly believe I'm that kind of person without the things that happened just now? Do you really think I don't know what you're up to? After how hard you try to get close to Adrian and also throw this extravagant wedding?’
It just never occurred to Jacqueline that Joshua would so harshly and openly expose her. She was stunned but that did not stop her from giving a cold look to Joshua.
She smiled. 'I can tell you're not stupid after all."
Joshua squinted. "Do you think I won't investigate you after knowing you and Adrian are getting married? Especially when you and Fiona look so alike?"
As she felt her senses settling down, Jacqueline's lips curled into a smile. She gave Joshua a look and said, "That's true. But..."
She looked at Joshua again before looking at Luna. "If you two are so capable, you should have known why I insisted on having you two attend this wedding... Why, then, didn't you two protect your friends?"
Those words struck Luna, alarming her. She bit her lip. Her eyes were full of hatred and anger as she glared at Jacqueline. 'You kidnapped Anne after all!’
When she saw the photo and the request from the kidnapper at the door, she guessed that it was Jacqueline, but she tried to be optimistic and thought that it could have been Adrian's debtors instead.
After all, Adrian did offend too many people. All of them were waiting for her and Joshua to show up so they could collect their money from Joshua and her. Among those debtors, some of them knew Anne was her close friend.
She thought that these debtors kidnapped Anne with the intention to force her and Joshua to show up so they could collect their due.
Luna even thought if the kidnapper was Adrian's debtor and that his purpose was to collect the money... She was willing to pay ten times the money Adrian owed just to guarantee Anne's safety.
She was willing to pay any price. Friends and families were far more important to her and Joshua when compared to money!
"Do you know why I kidnapped Anne?" Jacqueline curled up her lip and looked at Luna sharply.
’In the first place, I never considered kidnapping her. After all, I have nothing against her, and kidnapping her would only hurt her and her family. But...’
She continued to glare at Luna. I wanted to kidnap your children or your parents, but they were too far away and were guarded tightly. The only person I could get close to was Adrian, but it turns out he's a lost cause.

She laughed hysterically.

Luna is sooo stupid!...
This story line is sickening… her children, Nellie in particular, do not like Malcolm. She is already married to Joshua, the father of her children who loves her more than Malcolm ever could. Just disgusting....
Another “misunderstanding”…… poor Luna, why can’t she just say the Quinns kidnapped me instead of assuming Joshua is doing the wrong thing. Terrible....
I sure hope Aura gets arrested and pays for her many crimes soon, along with Adrian and Michael. Joshua and Luna need peace with their children....
Joshua is stupid, he says he loves Luna but refuses to tell her the truth thinking he can never recover from all the deceit, if he told the truth he could redeem himself and live a happy life with his family rather than continue to protect a bunch of evil criminals. Terrible decisions by a man who is smart enough to run a multi faceted company....
Omg this author is twisted!! When does Luna catch a break! This is awful. Aurasnd Fiona are evil, evil women and are using the children to commit their crimes 🤬...
And now the author has made it sound like he cares more for Fiona who he has only known a couple of weeks than Luna, his wife, the love of his life. Stupid and pathetically disgusting....
Wow, making Joshua out to be so stupid, ugh. Yes he told this horrible bitch he would accompany her until she died, but she lied about her fake illness so I guess he’ll have to live with her forever! He also promised to love, honor and cherish his wife Luna however seems to forget that with each passing malicious mistress, Aura, Alice and now Fiona. Awful. Let’s get past this into some storyline that involves some happiness for Luna… the only woman who truly cares for and loves him. Get rid of Fiona, soon....
So disgusted with this Fiona storyline, hope it doesn’t last much longer. Joshua told her when they made the deal he had someone in his heart and would not sleep with her. They could be faking a relationship and he doesn’t have to be so nasty to Luna and the kids. It’s heartbreaking and giving him another ridiculous relationship is unnecessary. Just makes more misunderstandings for Luna and harder for her to forgive him....
Joshua is in the wrong, even if Fiona asked him to keep their fake relationship a secret he should have told Luna what was going on. After all, supposedly he lives Luna and the children and is doing this for them. Being deceiving is not working for him....
