Chapter 2959
Neil and Nellie rushed to Joshua when they heard this and lined up to stare at him expectantly, waiting to hear his answer.
Even Shelly seemed to understand her brothers and sister's actions and fixated her unblinking eyes on Joshua.
Joshua sighed, gazing at the four children. "Your mother is fine, but..."
He reached out to gently clasp Nellie's hand. "Unfortunately, Mommy needs to stay apart from us for a while. Will you wait patiently for Mommy to return?"
Nellie bit her lip and lifted her head to stare at Joshua with tearful eyes. "I will! Not only that, but I'm sure Nigel, Neil, and Shelly will all wait for her to come back!"
As she said this, she trotted to the stroller and gently held her sister's chubby hand. "Even though Mommy isn't around, I'll take good care of little Shelly! When she returns, she'll see just how good of a sister I am!"
Joshua curled his lips into a smile as a surge of warmth spread into his heart. He was certain that Neil and Nellie had heard of what happened from Nigel, but none of them brought up Luna's wrongdoings and instead wanted to hear about her well-being.
He was thankful to have been blessed with such thoughtful, understanding children.
At the thought of this, Joshua hugged all of them before finally getting up and leading the crowd back to Moore Mansion.

The readers' comments on the novel: Will you marry me, My Ex-Wife (Luna and Joshua)
Luna is sooo stupid!...
This story line is sickening… her children, Nellie in particular, do not like Malcolm. She is already married to Joshua, the father of her children who loves her more than Malcolm ever could. Just disgusting....
Another “misunderstanding”…… poor Luna, why can’t she just say the Quinns kidnapped me instead of assuming Joshua is doing the wrong thing. Terrible....
I sure hope Aura gets arrested and pays for her many crimes soon, along with Adrian and Michael. Joshua and Luna need peace with their children....
Joshua is stupid, he says he loves Luna but refuses to tell her the truth thinking he can never recover from all the deceit, if he told the truth he could redeem himself and live a happy life with his family rather than continue to protect a bunch of evil criminals. Terrible decisions by a man who is smart enough to run a multi faceted company....
Omg this author is twisted!! When does Luna catch a break! This is awful. Aurasnd Fiona are evil, evil women and are using the children to commit their crimes 🤬...
And now the author has made it sound like he cares more for Fiona who he has only known a couple of weeks than Luna, his wife, the love of his life. Stupid and pathetically disgusting....
Wow, making Joshua out to be so stupid, ugh. Yes he told this horrible bitch he would accompany her until she died, but she lied about her fake illness so I guess he’ll have to live with her forever! He also promised to love, honor and cherish his wife Luna however seems to forget that with each passing malicious mistress, Aura, Alice and now Fiona. Awful. Let’s get past this into some storyline that involves some happiness for Luna… the only woman who truly cares for and loves him. Get rid of Fiona, soon....
So disgusted with this Fiona storyline, hope it doesn’t last much longer. Joshua told her when they made the deal he had someone in his heart and would not sleep with her. They could be faking a relationship and he doesn’t have to be so nasty to Luna and the kids. It’s heartbreaking and giving him another ridiculous relationship is unnecessary. Just makes more misunderstandings for Luna and harder for her to forgive him....
Joshua is in the wrong, even if Fiona asked him to keep their fake relationship a secret he should have told Luna what was going on. After all, supposedly he lives Luna and the children and is doing this for them. Being deceiving is not working for him....
