Chapter 2970
Rachel raised her brows and handed him the bouquet. "Alright, you can have it."
Theo paused, and the expression on his face became a little more twisted. "Aren't you going to ask me who I'm getting married to?"
"You can get married to anyone you want." Rachel curled her lips into a smile. "As long as it's not me."
With that, she pushed him away and turned to leave.
She had just taken two steps when Theo grabbed hold of her arm. He furrowed his brows and fixated his intense stare on her. "Rachel, are you... are you really okay with the idea of me marrying someone else?"
Rachel raised her brows in amusement and turned to meet his gaze. "Well, I wasn't okay when you insisted on marrying Roanne, but what did that get me in the end? What difference does it make whether I'm okay with it or not?"
Theo fell silent upon hearing this. Then, he took a small step back, his eyes still fixated on her. "I know what I did wrong now, and I've been trying my best to make amends to you in hopes that you'll forgive me, but..."
He let out a sigh. "I never once thought that...you'd still be so angry at me for it."
Rachel curled her lips into a smirk when she saw this. "Theo."
She turned to face him fully. "I'm a doctor. Let me ask you this-do you know what's the one inevitable outcome of having someone injure you and then getting that wound stitched up?"
Theo furrowed his brows and shook his head.
"It's scarring." Rachel smirked and pointed at her chest. "The scar that you and Roanne left behind will never be erased, and even if I forgave you, it doesn't mean that I'll forget. Besides..."
She chuckled. "Since when did I even say I had forgiven you?"
With that, she circled past him and snatched the bouquet out of his hands, then hurled it straight toward the crowd of women who had gathered around them. "This bouquet ended up in my hands, and since I don't want to get married, nor do I want to see you get married, I shall give it to someone else."

The readers' comments on the novel: Will you marry me, My Ex-Wife (Luna and Joshua)
Luna is sooo stupid!...
This story line is sickening… her children, Nellie in particular, do not like Malcolm. She is already married to Joshua, the father of her children who loves her more than Malcolm ever could. Just disgusting....
Another “misunderstanding”…… poor Luna, why can’t she just say the Quinns kidnapped me instead of assuming Joshua is doing the wrong thing. Terrible....
I sure hope Aura gets arrested and pays for her many crimes soon, along with Adrian and Michael. Joshua and Luna need peace with their children....
Joshua is stupid, he says he loves Luna but refuses to tell her the truth thinking he can never recover from all the deceit, if he told the truth he could redeem himself and live a happy life with his family rather than continue to protect a bunch of evil criminals. Terrible decisions by a man who is smart enough to run a multi faceted company....
Omg this author is twisted!! When does Luna catch a break! This is awful. Aurasnd Fiona are evil, evil women and are using the children to commit their crimes 🤬...
And now the author has made it sound like he cares more for Fiona who he has only known a couple of weeks than Luna, his wife, the love of his life. Stupid and pathetically disgusting....
Wow, making Joshua out to be so stupid, ugh. Yes he told this horrible bitch he would accompany her until she died, but she lied about her fake illness so I guess he’ll have to live with her forever! He also promised to love, honor and cherish his wife Luna however seems to forget that with each passing malicious mistress, Aura, Alice and now Fiona. Awful. Let’s get past this into some storyline that involves some happiness for Luna… the only woman who truly cares for and loves him. Get rid of Fiona, soon....
So disgusted with this Fiona storyline, hope it doesn’t last much longer. Joshua told her when they made the deal he had someone in his heart and would not sleep with her. They could be faking a relationship and he doesn’t have to be so nasty to Luna and the kids. It’s heartbreaking and giving him another ridiculous relationship is unnecessary. Just makes more misunderstandings for Luna and harder for her to forgive him....
Joshua is in the wrong, even if Fiona asked him to keep their fake relationship a secret he should have told Luna what was going on. After all, supposedly he lives Luna and the children and is doing this for them. Being deceiving is not working for him....
