Chapter 3069
Joshua furrowed his brow. "Well see."
Ever since Anne's death, Luna had been weighed down by her guilt toward John and was thus sensitive to any news about John's whereabouts. This was the reason she chose to come to Sharnwick City with Joshua. She hoped to get a glimpse of John and Sammie.
If Luna found out about John's injury, she would not be able to control herself and would perhaps do something irrational.
Joshua did not intend to intrude on John's life here in Sharnwick City, and if John found out that they were here to check on him, he would be disturbed and might even get angry at Joshua for failing to honor his promise.
"Maybe we should tell her only after John's situation is better," Luke suggested.
Gwen accepted this answer, turned away, and helped bring her father downstairs.
The ambulance sped off toward the nearest hospital with its two victims, sirens blaring.
Scarface and the rest of his accomplices had finally been caught.
Luna had been up all night all this while. After getting off from a call with her children, she continued to wait patiently by the phone, awaiting good news.
Finally, after seeing the news of the kidnappers' arrest, she let out a sigh of relief and allowed herself to drift off to sleep.
Everything was finally okay. Andy had been found, and Gwen could finally be at ease too.
Otherwise...
Luna could not even begin to imagine how Gwen would feel if, less than a year after losing Luke, she lost her father too.
Luna woke up at around 9 a.m. the next morning.

The readers' comments on the novel: Will you marry me, My Ex-Wife (Luna and Joshua)
Luna is sooo stupid!...
This story line is sickening… her children, Nellie in particular, do not like Malcolm. She is already married to Joshua, the father of her children who loves her more than Malcolm ever could. Just disgusting....
Another “misunderstanding”…… poor Luna, why can’t she just say the Quinns kidnapped me instead of assuming Joshua is doing the wrong thing. Terrible....
I sure hope Aura gets arrested and pays for her many crimes soon, along with Adrian and Michael. Joshua and Luna need peace with their children....
Joshua is stupid, he says he loves Luna but refuses to tell her the truth thinking he can never recover from all the deceit, if he told the truth he could redeem himself and live a happy life with his family rather than continue to protect a bunch of evil criminals. Terrible decisions by a man who is smart enough to run a multi faceted company....
Omg this author is twisted!! When does Luna catch a break! This is awful. Aurasnd Fiona are evil, evil women and are using the children to commit their crimes 🤬...
And now the author has made it sound like he cares more for Fiona who he has only known a couple of weeks than Luna, his wife, the love of his life. Stupid and pathetically disgusting....
Wow, making Joshua out to be so stupid, ugh. Yes he told this horrible bitch he would accompany her until she died, but she lied about her fake illness so I guess he’ll have to live with her forever! He also promised to love, honor and cherish his wife Luna however seems to forget that with each passing malicious mistress, Aura, Alice and now Fiona. Awful. Let’s get past this into some storyline that involves some happiness for Luna… the only woman who truly cares for and loves him. Get rid of Fiona, soon....
So disgusted with this Fiona storyline, hope it doesn’t last much longer. Joshua told her when they made the deal he had someone in his heart and would not sleep with her. They could be faking a relationship and he doesn’t have to be so nasty to Luna and the kids. It’s heartbreaking and giving him another ridiculous relationship is unnecessary. Just makes more misunderstandings for Luna and harder for her to forgive him....
Joshua is in the wrong, even if Fiona asked him to keep their fake relationship a secret he should have told Luna what was going on. After all, supposedly he lives Luna and the children and is doing this for them. Being deceiving is not working for him....
