Joshua smiled. “I thought that you would have said something.“
Alice shuddered a little.
After a moment, she lifted her head, smiled, and looked at Luna. “If Joshua did not say it, I wouldn’t have known that Ms. Hailey had done so many things.“
Then, she weighed her words before saying with a smile, “Perhaps Ms. Hailey is jealous of Ms. Luna’s talent? After all, Luna is an exceptional jewelry designer. The Walter family is also in the jewelry business. Why would Ms. Hailey want to get rid of such a talented designer like Luna?“
Her indifferent statement did not mention her previous best friend, Gwen.
Joshua furrowed his brows tightly. His Luna Gibson in the past was not a person like that. She was a kindhearted and gentle woman. She would always care about other people’s feelings.
For example, according to Luna Gibson in the past, the words that Luna said on behalf of the Larson family, she would say them too.
However, at that moment, not only did Alice not help the Larson family, but when he asked her to say a word or two, she only said unhelpful things.
Was it time that changed her, or…
The meal ended with Old Mr. Walter apologizing politely to Gwen.
After the meal, Luna took the initiative to visit Gwen’s father with her.
Joshua had some work to do. He arranged a few bodyguards to wait for Alice outside and left first.
After everyone left, only Alice and Old Mr. Walter were left in the dining room.
“I told you to not be too greedy.“
Old Mr. Walter lit a cigarette and swept Alice a cold glance. “Ever since you had the surgery to change into this face, I have warned you that if you are
going to assume another person’s identity, you have to forget that your past that you are the heiress to the Walter family!
“Look at what happened. You think that just because you are in Sea City, you are in your territory. You used all your power to deal with Luna! “

The readers' comments on the novel: Will you marry me, My Ex-Wife (Luna and Joshua)
Luna is sooo stupid!...
This story line is sickening… her children, Nellie in particular, do not like Malcolm. She is already married to Joshua, the father of her children who loves her more than Malcolm ever could. Just disgusting....
Another “misunderstanding”…… poor Luna, why can’t she just say the Quinns kidnapped me instead of assuming Joshua is doing the wrong thing. Terrible....
I sure hope Aura gets arrested and pays for her many crimes soon, along with Adrian and Michael. Joshua and Luna need peace with their children....
Joshua is stupid, he says he loves Luna but refuses to tell her the truth thinking he can never recover from all the deceit, if he told the truth he could redeem himself and live a happy life with his family rather than continue to protect a bunch of evil criminals. Terrible decisions by a man who is smart enough to run a multi faceted company....
Omg this author is twisted!! When does Luna catch a break! This is awful. Aurasnd Fiona are evil, evil women and are using the children to commit their crimes 🤬...
And now the author has made it sound like he cares more for Fiona who he has only known a couple of weeks than Luna, his wife, the love of his life. Stupid and pathetically disgusting....
Wow, making Joshua out to be so stupid, ugh. Yes he told this horrible bitch he would accompany her until she died, but she lied about her fake illness so I guess he’ll have to live with her forever! He also promised to love, honor and cherish his wife Luna however seems to forget that with each passing malicious mistress, Aura, Alice and now Fiona. Awful. Let’s get past this into some storyline that involves some happiness for Luna… the only woman who truly cares for and loves him. Get rid of Fiona, soon....
So disgusted with this Fiona storyline, hope it doesn’t last much longer. Joshua told her when they made the deal he had someone in his heart and would not sleep with her. They could be faking a relationship and he doesn’t have to be so nasty to Luna and the kids. It’s heartbreaking and giving him another ridiculous relationship is unnecessary. Just makes more misunderstandings for Luna and harder for her to forgive him....
Joshua is in the wrong, even if Fiona asked him to keep their fake relationship a secret he should have told Luna what was going on. After all, supposedly he lives Luna and the children and is doing this for them. Being deceiving is not working for him....
