Luna slept for a long time. She seemed to be unable to wake up from her dream.
She dreamt that she was dragged down from the car by someone while being unconscious.
She could not open her eyes, but she could feel that her legs were being dragged on the ground. They were bleeding and they hurt a lot.
The sound of men talking rang out in her ears. She could not hear what they were saying but she clearly heard things like raping then killing.
She wanted to open her eyes, but could not no matter what.
In the end, she woke up by cold water being splashed on her.
She opened her eyes and realized that everything was not an illusion nor a dream.
At that moment, she was in an abandoned factory. The air smelled of rust, gas, and mold.
Her hands and legs were being tied up by a rope. She was tied onto a chair and could not move.
The lighting in the factory was dim.
A few burly men stood in front of her, sneering at her.
Behind them, a middle-aged man was sitting arrogantly on a chair. He was holding an opened letter. He took a picture of the contents of the letter.
After sending the contents of the letter as a message, the middle-aged man smiled. He burnt the letter away and looked at Luna.
“Do you know who I am?“
Luna bit her lips. She bore through the pain on her legs and forced herself to calm down. “Yes. You’re the gang leader of Sea City’s largest gang, Liam Clark.“
Liam was quite surprised that she knew his name because the party that hired him told him that she was a woman from Banyan City.
“You’re a treacherous, murdering maniac. As long as you want to do it, no one would be able to catch you, but you are not for hire, never doing things for others.“
Then, Luna forced herself to look at Liam courageously. “I have no grudge with you. Have you made an exception and started doing things for other people?“

The readers' comments on the novel: Will you marry me, My Ex-Wife (Luna and Joshua)
Luna is sooo stupid!...
This story line is sickening… her children, Nellie in particular, do not like Malcolm. She is already married to Joshua, the father of her children who loves her more than Malcolm ever could. Just disgusting....
Another “misunderstanding”…… poor Luna, why can’t she just say the Quinns kidnapped me instead of assuming Joshua is doing the wrong thing. Terrible....
I sure hope Aura gets arrested and pays for her many crimes soon, along with Adrian and Michael. Joshua and Luna need peace with their children....
Joshua is stupid, he says he loves Luna but refuses to tell her the truth thinking he can never recover from all the deceit, if he told the truth he could redeem himself and live a happy life with his family rather than continue to protect a bunch of evil criminals. Terrible decisions by a man who is smart enough to run a multi faceted company....
Omg this author is twisted!! When does Luna catch a break! This is awful. Aurasnd Fiona are evil, evil women and are using the children to commit their crimes 🤬...
And now the author has made it sound like he cares more for Fiona who he has only known a couple of weeks than Luna, his wife, the love of his life. Stupid and pathetically disgusting....
Wow, making Joshua out to be so stupid, ugh. Yes he told this horrible bitch he would accompany her until she died, but she lied about her fake illness so I guess he’ll have to live with her forever! He also promised to love, honor and cherish his wife Luna however seems to forget that with each passing malicious mistress, Aura, Alice and now Fiona. Awful. Let’s get past this into some storyline that involves some happiness for Luna… the only woman who truly cares for and loves him. Get rid of Fiona, soon....
So disgusted with this Fiona storyline, hope it doesn’t last much longer. Joshua told her when they made the deal he had someone in his heart and would not sleep with her. They could be faking a relationship and he doesn’t have to be so nasty to Luna and the kids. It’s heartbreaking and giving him another ridiculous relationship is unnecessary. Just makes more misunderstandings for Luna and harder for her to forgive him....
Joshua is in the wrong, even if Fiona asked him to keep their fake relationship a secret he should have told Luna what was going on. After all, supposedly he lives Luna and the children and is doing this for them. Being deceiving is not working for him....
