“Mommy! I miss you so much!“ Nellie said.
She took her keys, and the moment she opened the door to the apartment, the two children rushed out like two little tornadoes.
Neil and Nellie each hugged one of her legs, chattering away in excitement.
“Mommy, I knew you would come back at this hour, but Neil insisted you would come back later! “
“Mommy, in the past few days that you weren’t home, I asked Lily to teach me how to make coffee! I made your favorite Arabica coffee! “
“Mommy, I have it all planned out, you can’t go anywhere this afternoon. Just stay at home, read me stories and build Legos with Neil! “
“Mommy…“
Luna lowered her eyes, looked at the two black little heads in front of her, the words were at the tip of her tongue, but she just could not spit them out.
Behind her, Lily stood in the living room, looking at her with a smile on her face. “Ms. Luna, they purposely took a day off from school to wait for you. Since this morning, they were particularly excited, decorating the house as if it was the holiday season.“
Only then did Luna notice the decorations hanging in the living room. Colorful banners were strung across the walls, their longing for written clearly across the banners in sloppy, childish writing.
Glued to the middle of the wall were a row of flowers that were shaped into words: Welcome home, Mommy!
Looking at the festive decorations in the room, Luna’s heart was warm yet in pain, as if it had been burned by something hot.
She suppressed her tears of agitation and knelt down, “Neil, Nellie. Joshua’s car is still downstairs. “
Immediately, there was a change in Neil’s expression. Meanwhile, Nellie cocked her head to the side and looked at her mother in confusion. “What’s Daddy doing downstairs?“
“He’s waiting for us to go down.“ The woman held out her hand gently and ruffled the little girl’s hair. “ He misses the two of you too. And… Alice is here. She also wants to see the two of you. So, let’s go downstairs, and follow them back to Blue Bay Villa, okay?“
The little girl’s expression fell in an instant. She shook her head fervently, “No, no, no! Alice is so, so fierce! I don’t like her! I don’t want to go home! “

The readers' comments on the novel: Will you marry me, My Ex-Wife (Luna and Joshua)
Luna is sooo stupid!...
This story line is sickening… her children, Nellie in particular, do not like Malcolm. She is already married to Joshua, the father of her children who loves her more than Malcolm ever could. Just disgusting....
Another “misunderstanding”…… poor Luna, why can’t she just say the Quinns kidnapped me instead of assuming Joshua is doing the wrong thing. Terrible....
I sure hope Aura gets arrested and pays for her many crimes soon, along with Adrian and Michael. Joshua and Luna need peace with their children....
Joshua is stupid, he says he loves Luna but refuses to tell her the truth thinking he can never recover from all the deceit, if he told the truth he could redeem himself and live a happy life with his family rather than continue to protect a bunch of evil criminals. Terrible decisions by a man who is smart enough to run a multi faceted company....
Omg this author is twisted!! When does Luna catch a break! This is awful. Aurasnd Fiona are evil, evil women and are using the children to commit their crimes 🤬...
And now the author has made it sound like he cares more for Fiona who he has only known a couple of weeks than Luna, his wife, the love of his life. Stupid and pathetically disgusting....
Wow, making Joshua out to be so stupid, ugh. Yes he told this horrible bitch he would accompany her until she died, but she lied about her fake illness so I guess he’ll have to live with her forever! He also promised to love, honor and cherish his wife Luna however seems to forget that with each passing malicious mistress, Aura, Alice and now Fiona. Awful. Let’s get past this into some storyline that involves some happiness for Luna… the only woman who truly cares for and loves him. Get rid of Fiona, soon....
So disgusted with this Fiona storyline, hope it doesn’t last much longer. Joshua told her when they made the deal he had someone in his heart and would not sleep with her. They could be faking a relationship and he doesn’t have to be so nasty to Luna and the kids. It’s heartbreaking and giving him another ridiculous relationship is unnecessary. Just makes more misunderstandings for Luna and harder for her to forgive him....
Joshua is in the wrong, even if Fiona asked him to keep their fake relationship a secret he should have told Luna what was going on. After all, supposedly he lives Luna and the children and is doing this for them. Being deceiving is not working for him....
