By the time Luna finally woke up, it was already evening.
She could smell the faint, distinctive scent that belonged to Joshua and hear the click-clack of someone’s fingers on the keyboard.
Luna frowned and opened her eyes with some difficulty.
The first thing she saw was Joshua’s sharp and chiseled side profile. He was doing some work in the car, his laptop propped up in front of him.
He had a pair of defined eyebrows, long lashes, and perfectly shaped lips. Luna had to admit that even though Joshua was a scumbag, he was certainly a handsome one.
No wonder Alice was willing to give up her old identity and pretend to be Luna Gibson just to gain his love and affection.
Luna stared blankly at Joshua, deep in thought, when he suddenly smirked. “What are you looking at?“
His low voice made Luna jolt in shock. When she finally came to, Joshua had already turned his head around and was looking at her. “Did you get enough sleep?“
Luna froze for a moment, then nodded. “Yes, I did. “
“Four hours, “ Joshua remarked as he lowered his head to glance at his watch. He curled his lips into a smirk. “What a pig.“ With that, he closed his laptop and said, “Didn’t you say you have something to talk to me about over here?“
Luna’s mind went blank for a moment before she finally recalled that she had fallen asleep while they were on their way to Swan Lake Residences. She let out a sigh and sat up.
The jacket that was draped over her slid onto the floor. It was then she realized that Joshua had put his jacket over her while she slept.
Joshua glanced at the jacket on the floor and raised his eyebrows. Before he could say anything, however, Luna quickly picked up the jacket. “I’ll return it to you as soon as I wash it.“ Then, she hastily got out of the car.
Joshua chuckled when he saw how frantic she was and got out of the car himself. Then, they got into the elevator and ascended to Luna’s floor together.
Luna clutched Joshua’s jacket tightly in her hands while Joshua stood slightly behind her. Even though her back was facing him, Luna could still feel his penetrating gaze on her. She immediately straightened up when she realized that.

The readers' comments on the novel: Will you marry me, My Ex-Wife (Luna and Joshua)
Luna is sooo stupid!...
This story line is sickening… her children, Nellie in particular, do not like Malcolm. She is already married to Joshua, the father of her children who loves her more than Malcolm ever could. Just disgusting....
Another “misunderstanding”…… poor Luna, why can’t she just say the Quinns kidnapped me instead of assuming Joshua is doing the wrong thing. Terrible....
I sure hope Aura gets arrested and pays for her many crimes soon, along with Adrian and Michael. Joshua and Luna need peace with their children....
Joshua is stupid, he says he loves Luna but refuses to tell her the truth thinking he can never recover from all the deceit, if he told the truth he could redeem himself and live a happy life with his family rather than continue to protect a bunch of evil criminals. Terrible decisions by a man who is smart enough to run a multi faceted company....
Omg this author is twisted!! When does Luna catch a break! This is awful. Aurasnd Fiona are evil, evil women and are using the children to commit their crimes 🤬...
And now the author has made it sound like he cares more for Fiona who he has only known a couple of weeks than Luna, his wife, the love of his life. Stupid and pathetically disgusting....
Wow, making Joshua out to be so stupid, ugh. Yes he told this horrible bitch he would accompany her until she died, but she lied about her fake illness so I guess he’ll have to live with her forever! He also promised to love, honor and cherish his wife Luna however seems to forget that with each passing malicious mistress, Aura, Alice and now Fiona. Awful. Let’s get past this into some storyline that involves some happiness for Luna… the only woman who truly cares for and loves him. Get rid of Fiona, soon....
So disgusted with this Fiona storyline, hope it doesn’t last much longer. Joshua told her when they made the deal he had someone in his heart and would not sleep with her. They could be faking a relationship and he doesn’t have to be so nasty to Luna and the kids. It’s heartbreaking and giving him another ridiculous relationship is unnecessary. Just makes more misunderstandings for Luna and harder for her to forgive him....
Joshua is in the wrong, even if Fiona asked him to keep their fake relationship a secret he should have told Luna what was going on. After all, supposedly he lives Luna and the children and is doing this for them. Being deceiving is not working for him....
