Joshua stopped in his tracks and chided, “Just because I’m sticking up for Luna, you think I’ve fallen for her?“ He curled his lips into a contemptuous smirk and added, “How about you, Dad? You’re very protective of Hailey as well. Does that mean you’re in love with her?“
Adrian grew furious the moment he heard Joshua’s words. He slammed his fists against the table and roared, “How dare you even say that, Joshua? I’ve been friends with Dennis for such a long time now. Hailey is like a daughter to me! Besides, she’s dead now—how dare you even say such disrespectful things?“
Joshua chuckled. “No one is certain whether she’s truly dead or not, but…“ He turned around and glanced at Adrian. “I learned this from you, Dad.“
Adrian was so enraged that he began struggling to breathe. “You b*stard! How dare you even talk to your father like this?“
“If I’m a b*stard, what are you, Master Lynch?“ snapped Joshua before he turned and left the room, slamming the door behind him.
Adrian flipped the table over in a fury, not caring that he had spilled the food.
Swan Lake Residences.
Luna sat on the sofa as she drew some sketches on her easel while listening to her three children chatter through her earpiece.
”The food that Lily cooked for us tonight was delicious ! Although her cooking isn’t as good as Mommy’s, it wasn’t bad at all ! ” chirped Nellie in a childish voice as if giving Luna a brief recap of her day. ”Much better than what Alice made.”
Neil snickered. ”I think even I ‘in better at cooking than Alice is. ” Then, suddenly, he seemed to recall something and added, ”Nigel, do you know that Lily taught me how to cook a few new dishes? I ’11 make them for you as soon as you get better.”
As soon as Neil said this, Luna heard Nigel’s chuckle ring out from the other end. ”Why do you have to wait until I get better?”
Neil giggled. ”I’m scared my cooking might make your condition get worse.”

The readers' comments on the novel: Will you marry me, My Ex-Wife (Luna and Joshua)
Luna is sooo stupid!...
This story line is sickening… her children, Nellie in particular, do not like Malcolm. She is already married to Joshua, the father of her children who loves her more than Malcolm ever could. Just disgusting....
Another “misunderstanding”…… poor Luna, why can’t she just say the Quinns kidnapped me instead of assuming Joshua is doing the wrong thing. Terrible....
I sure hope Aura gets arrested and pays for her many crimes soon, along with Adrian and Michael. Joshua and Luna need peace with their children....
Joshua is stupid, he says he loves Luna but refuses to tell her the truth thinking he can never recover from all the deceit, if he told the truth he could redeem himself and live a happy life with his family rather than continue to protect a bunch of evil criminals. Terrible decisions by a man who is smart enough to run a multi faceted company....
Omg this author is twisted!! When does Luna catch a break! This is awful. Aurasnd Fiona are evil, evil women and are using the children to commit their crimes 🤬...
And now the author has made it sound like he cares more for Fiona who he has only known a couple of weeks than Luna, his wife, the love of his life. Stupid and pathetically disgusting....
Wow, making Joshua out to be so stupid, ugh. Yes he told this horrible bitch he would accompany her until she died, but she lied about her fake illness so I guess he’ll have to live with her forever! He also promised to love, honor and cherish his wife Luna however seems to forget that with each passing malicious mistress, Aura, Alice and now Fiona. Awful. Let’s get past this into some storyline that involves some happiness for Luna… the only woman who truly cares for and loves him. Get rid of Fiona, soon....
So disgusted with this Fiona storyline, hope it doesn’t last much longer. Joshua told her when they made the deal he had someone in his heart and would not sleep with her. They could be faking a relationship and he doesn’t have to be so nasty to Luna and the kids. It’s heartbreaking and giving him another ridiculous relationship is unnecessary. Just makes more misunderstandings for Luna and harder for her to forgive him....
Joshua is in the wrong, even if Fiona asked him to keep their fake relationship a secret he should have told Luna what was going on. After all, supposedly he lives Luna and the children and is doing this for them. Being deceiving is not working for him....
