Luna closed her eyes.
She had reasons to suspect that Alice was probably the one that posted the video online.
Alice was deliberately attempting to put Luna in a dilemma.
On one hand was her career, which she has worked hard for many years and wanted to continue doing so for the rest of her life.
On the other hand were her biological parents, who raised her for the past 20 years.
Both were equally important to Luna.
Luna secretly clenched her fists tightly. She had been too naive. She was so engrossed in her work for the past half a month that she almost forgot Alice, a ticking time bomb, was near her.
After a long while, the car stopped.
Joshua’s voice rang in her ears. “Get down.“ Only then did Luna open her eyes.
She opened the car door and realized that Joshua had sent her back to Swan Lake Residences.
“Thank you, “ she thanked him and left.
“Luna.“ The moment she turned around, Joshua called after her gently.
She furrowed her brows and turned back subconsciously. “Is there anything I can help you with, Mr. Lynch?“
Joshua elegantly placed his hands on the leather seat. His gaze was calm. “Aren’t you going to invite me up for a meal?“
Luna furrowed her brows.
Joshua might say that he wanted to head up for a meal, but once he was upstairs and alone with her, no one would be able to say what might happen.
Even if she was desperate to bear his child to cure Nigel, due to the complicated situation that day, she could not bring herself to be excited.
After a long while, Luna let out a long breath. “If the plagiarizing incident didn’t happen today, I’m more than willing to invite you up for a meal to celebrate, Mr. Lynch, but now…“
Luna could not help but sneer. “Now that the Lynch Group’s Director of Design is being under fire for plagiarism and the Lynch Group’s stock prices have been plummeting, I don’t think you’d want to celebrate either, Mr. Lynch.“
Joshua raised his eyebrows and smiled. “I never knew that you paid attention to Lynch Group’s stock prices.“

The readers' comments on the novel: Will you marry me, My Ex-Wife (Luna and Joshua)
Luna is sooo stupid!...
This story line is sickening… her children, Nellie in particular, do not like Malcolm. She is already married to Joshua, the father of her children who loves her more than Malcolm ever could. Just disgusting....
Another “misunderstanding”…… poor Luna, why can’t she just say the Quinns kidnapped me instead of assuming Joshua is doing the wrong thing. Terrible....
I sure hope Aura gets arrested and pays for her many crimes soon, along with Adrian and Michael. Joshua and Luna need peace with their children....
Joshua is stupid, he says he loves Luna but refuses to tell her the truth thinking he can never recover from all the deceit, if he told the truth he could redeem himself and live a happy life with his family rather than continue to protect a bunch of evil criminals. Terrible decisions by a man who is smart enough to run a multi faceted company....
Omg this author is twisted!! When does Luna catch a break! This is awful. Aurasnd Fiona are evil, evil women and are using the children to commit their crimes 🤬...
And now the author has made it sound like he cares more for Fiona who he has only known a couple of weeks than Luna, his wife, the love of his life. Stupid and pathetically disgusting....
Wow, making Joshua out to be so stupid, ugh. Yes he told this horrible bitch he would accompany her until she died, but she lied about her fake illness so I guess he’ll have to live with her forever! He also promised to love, honor and cherish his wife Luna however seems to forget that with each passing malicious mistress, Aura, Alice and now Fiona. Awful. Let’s get past this into some storyline that involves some happiness for Luna… the only woman who truly cares for and loves him. Get rid of Fiona, soon....
So disgusted with this Fiona storyline, hope it doesn’t last much longer. Joshua told her when they made the deal he had someone in his heart and would not sleep with her. They could be faking a relationship and he doesn’t have to be so nasty to Luna and the kids. It’s heartbreaking and giving him another ridiculous relationship is unnecessary. Just makes more misunderstandings for Luna and harder for her to forgive him....
Joshua is in the wrong, even if Fiona asked him to keep their fake relationship a secret he should have told Luna what was going on. After all, supposedly he lives Luna and the children and is doing this for them. Being deceiving is not working for him....
