Coming out from the elevator, Luna only entered the main entrance of the design department when she was stopped by someone.
It was no one else but Joseph Gibson, who was just released from the police station the night before.
Luna has only not seen him for a day, but he seemed to look much more haggard than when Luna visited him that day.
“Ms. Luna, I have something to tell you.“
Luna furrowed her brows. She walked around him and entered. “I have nothing to say to you.“
Joseph immediately took huge steps and tried to stop her again. He said with a voice so soft that only the both of them could hear, “Lulu. Dad wants to talk to you.“
When Joseph muttered the word ‘Lulu’, Luna suddenly stopped in her tracks.
That was how Joseph and Natasha used to call her when she was young. She has not heard that nickname in a very long time.
Luna’s breathing stopped. Her blood froze.
She lifted her head, forcefully suppressed the shock and confusion in her heart, and glared at Joseph coldly. “Mr. Gibson, what are you talking about?“
A day ago, when she met Joseph at the police station, he looked like he wanted to murder her for good.
Why was there a 180-degree change the next day?
Not only did he call her the nickname that only a few knew, he even called himself her dad?
What on earth was he trying to do?
“Lulu.“ Joseph furrowed his brows. He said in a suppressed tone, “Why are you still calling me Mr. Gibson, I’m your dad! I know everything.“
Then, he continued and could not help but laugh. “ Lulu, you should have told me earlier. I have long recognized you. Why did we have to make things between us father and daughter so ugly? I booked a table at the cafe downstairs. Should we go there and have a chat?“
Luna furrowed her brows. Her voice was ice cold. “Mr. Gibson, have you gone nuts after being in prison for a few days?“
Although she was not clear what Joseph was trying to do, Luna understood Joseph and Natasha.
They could never hide secrets. If they knew of her true identity, the consequences would be unimaginably terrible.

The readers' comments on the novel: Will you marry me, My Ex-Wife (Luna and Joshua)
Luna is sooo stupid!...
This story line is sickening… her children, Nellie in particular, do not like Malcolm. She is already married to Joshua, the father of her children who loves her more than Malcolm ever could. Just disgusting....
Another “misunderstanding”…… poor Luna, why can’t she just say the Quinns kidnapped me instead of assuming Joshua is doing the wrong thing. Terrible....
I sure hope Aura gets arrested and pays for her many crimes soon, along with Adrian and Michael. Joshua and Luna need peace with their children....
Joshua is stupid, he says he loves Luna but refuses to tell her the truth thinking he can never recover from all the deceit, if he told the truth he could redeem himself and live a happy life with his family rather than continue to protect a bunch of evil criminals. Terrible decisions by a man who is smart enough to run a multi faceted company....
Omg this author is twisted!! When does Luna catch a break! This is awful. Aurasnd Fiona are evil, evil women and are using the children to commit their crimes 🤬...
And now the author has made it sound like he cares more for Fiona who he has only known a couple of weeks than Luna, his wife, the love of his life. Stupid and pathetically disgusting....
Wow, making Joshua out to be so stupid, ugh. Yes he told this horrible bitch he would accompany her until she died, but she lied about her fake illness so I guess he’ll have to live with her forever! He also promised to love, honor and cherish his wife Luna however seems to forget that with each passing malicious mistress, Aura, Alice and now Fiona. Awful. Let’s get past this into some storyline that involves some happiness for Luna… the only woman who truly cares for and loves him. Get rid of Fiona, soon....
So disgusted with this Fiona storyline, hope it doesn’t last much longer. Joshua told her when they made the deal he had someone in his heart and would not sleep with her. They could be faking a relationship and he doesn’t have to be so nasty to Luna and the kids. It’s heartbreaking and giving him another ridiculous relationship is unnecessary. Just makes more misunderstandings for Luna and harder for her to forgive him....
Joshua is in the wrong, even if Fiona asked him to keep their fake relationship a secret he should have told Luna what was going on. After all, supposedly he lives Luna and the children and is doing this for them. Being deceiving is not working for him....
