Alice was dressed in a revealing way, standing in front of Joshua. She never expected that Joshua would say such words.
Her face turned a little pale. Then, she gently laughed, “Joshua…“
Alice went around the desk and directly approached Joshua. She tenderly sat on his lap, burying herself in his arms. She slid her long finger across his cold, handsome face.
“With you around, even if I don’t wear anything, I won’t feel cold.“
Alice’s actions were extremely seductive, one would not be able to resist her facial expression.
However…
Joshua furrowed his brows. He put her down from his arms.
He reached her long hands and grabbed the teacup which Alice placed on the table. He picked it up and took a small sip.
“Aren’t you here to apologize to me?“
He leaned back and pushed the chair slightly away from Alice. “What are you apologizing for?“
Alice furrowed her brows. She wanted to continue getting closer to Joshua. “After you went upstairs, I thought for a while. It’s true. Luna did not say things like how the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree to me.”
Alice sighed, “Someone else said that to me. I remembered it wrongly.“
Then, Alice gently took over the teacup in Joshua’s hand. She placed it back on the table. Then, she hugged Joshua’s neck tightly with both her arms.
She pressed her sexy lips forward. “Joshua, can you forgive me?“
“The person you should apologize to is Luna and not me.“
Joshua rubbed the middle of his brows. The second before Alice’s lips touched him, he raised his hands and blocked her kiss.
“I still have work to do.“
Alice was determined to sleep with Joshua. She bit her lips rather shyly. “But Joshua, I want it… we haven’t slept together in almost half a month. I ‘m your wife, please don’t avoid me. What do you say? “
Alice’s voice was gentle, she looked aggrieved. Her face was exceptionally gorgeous. She also had a great figure. The pajamas could barely cover her long legs and beautiful hips.
Joshua had to admit that this was a scene that could stir up his feelings.

The readers' comments on the novel: Will you marry me, My Ex-Wife (Luna and Joshua)
Luna is sooo stupid!...
This story line is sickening… her children, Nellie in particular, do not like Malcolm. She is already married to Joshua, the father of her children who loves her more than Malcolm ever could. Just disgusting....
Another “misunderstanding”…… poor Luna, why can’t she just say the Quinns kidnapped me instead of assuming Joshua is doing the wrong thing. Terrible....
I sure hope Aura gets arrested and pays for her many crimes soon, along with Adrian and Michael. Joshua and Luna need peace with their children....
Joshua is stupid, he says he loves Luna but refuses to tell her the truth thinking he can never recover from all the deceit, if he told the truth he could redeem himself and live a happy life with his family rather than continue to protect a bunch of evil criminals. Terrible decisions by a man who is smart enough to run a multi faceted company....
Omg this author is twisted!! When does Luna catch a break! This is awful. Aurasnd Fiona are evil, evil women and are using the children to commit their crimes 🤬...
And now the author has made it sound like he cares more for Fiona who he has only known a couple of weeks than Luna, his wife, the love of his life. Stupid and pathetically disgusting....
Wow, making Joshua out to be so stupid, ugh. Yes he told this horrible bitch he would accompany her until she died, but she lied about her fake illness so I guess he’ll have to live with her forever! He also promised to love, honor and cherish his wife Luna however seems to forget that with each passing malicious mistress, Aura, Alice and now Fiona. Awful. Let’s get past this into some storyline that involves some happiness for Luna… the only woman who truly cares for and loves him. Get rid of Fiona, soon....
So disgusted with this Fiona storyline, hope it doesn’t last much longer. Joshua told her when they made the deal he had someone in his heart and would not sleep with her. They could be faking a relationship and he doesn’t have to be so nasty to Luna and the kids. It’s heartbreaking and giving him another ridiculous relationship is unnecessary. Just makes more misunderstandings for Luna and harder for her to forgive him....
Joshua is in the wrong, even if Fiona asked him to keep their fake relationship a secret he should have told Luna what was going on. After all, supposedly he lives Luna and the children and is doing this for them. Being deceiving is not working for him....
