Luna’s smile turned into a sneer.
After a while, she narrowed her eyes and looked at Alice in the red dress. Her tone turned cold too. “ You’re coming along too?“
“Yes.“ Alice smiled brightly at Luna. “Joshua and I also want to accompany Neil and Nellie today.“
Then, she pretended to be motherly. “For the past half a month, I have been working in the design department every day. I don’t even have the time to spend time with my kids. Now that they are leaving, I don’t want to give up the last chance I have to spend time with them.“
“I’m their mother and you’re their adoptive moth. Our feelings for the children are the same, right?“
As if!
Luna clenched her fists tightly. She could not help but immediately see through Alice’s pretense. “Mrs. Lynch, your acting skills are getting better.“
“Likewise.“ Alice walked over and said in her eyes. “As long as you’re unhappy, I’ll be happy. You want to spend a day happily playing? Dream on.“
Luna released her clenched fist. She sneered and looked at Alice, “Mrs. Lynch, are you sure that you won’t be the unhappy one today, coming along?“
“How could it be me?“ Alice smiled smugly. “Luna, don’t you forget, I ‘m Joshua’s wife and mother of the children. My husband and I are taking our children out to play today. Who the hell are you? You’re just tagging along!“
“Is it?“ Luna swept Alice a condescending glance. “We shall see.“
Then, Luna ignored Alice and immediately got into the car.
Alice’s expressions turned ugly for a moment at Luna’s calm look. However, she recovered quickly. She chuckled gently and went in the car too.
The atmosphere in the car was so quiet it made one’s heart palpitate.
Joshua was sitting on the couch with his documents in his hands. He was reading while taking notes.
Neil and Nellie sat unhappily opposite Joshua. Neil was fidgeting a Rubik’s cube in annoyance.
Nellie on the other hand was sketching angrily on her little sketch board.
Luna and Alice got in the car. One sat next to Joshua, while the other sat in between Neil and Nellie.
The car started moving.

The readers' comments on the novel: Will you marry me, My Ex-Wife (Luna and Joshua)
Luna is sooo stupid!...
This story line is sickening… her children, Nellie in particular, do not like Malcolm. She is already married to Joshua, the father of her children who loves her more than Malcolm ever could. Just disgusting....
Another “misunderstanding”…… poor Luna, why can’t she just say the Quinns kidnapped me instead of assuming Joshua is doing the wrong thing. Terrible....
I sure hope Aura gets arrested and pays for her many crimes soon, along with Adrian and Michael. Joshua and Luna need peace with their children....
Joshua is stupid, he says he loves Luna but refuses to tell her the truth thinking he can never recover from all the deceit, if he told the truth he could redeem himself and live a happy life with his family rather than continue to protect a bunch of evil criminals. Terrible decisions by a man who is smart enough to run a multi faceted company....
Omg this author is twisted!! When does Luna catch a break! This is awful. Aurasnd Fiona are evil, evil women and are using the children to commit their crimes 🤬...
And now the author has made it sound like he cares more for Fiona who he has only known a couple of weeks than Luna, his wife, the love of his life. Stupid and pathetically disgusting....
Wow, making Joshua out to be so stupid, ugh. Yes he told this horrible bitch he would accompany her until she died, but she lied about her fake illness so I guess he’ll have to live with her forever! He also promised to love, honor and cherish his wife Luna however seems to forget that with each passing malicious mistress, Aura, Alice and now Fiona. Awful. Let’s get past this into some storyline that involves some happiness for Luna… the only woman who truly cares for and loves him. Get rid of Fiona, soon....
So disgusted with this Fiona storyline, hope it doesn’t last much longer. Joshua told her when they made the deal he had someone in his heart and would not sleep with her. They could be faking a relationship and he doesn’t have to be so nasty to Luna and the kids. It’s heartbreaking and giving him another ridiculous relationship is unnecessary. Just makes more misunderstandings for Luna and harder for her to forgive him....
Joshua is in the wrong, even if Fiona asked him to keep their fake relationship a secret he should have told Luna what was going on. After all, supposedly he lives Luna and the children and is doing this for them. Being deceiving is not working for him....
