“The hickey on my husband’s neck… of course I planted it.“
Alice still lay on Joshua’s chest arrogantly, looking at Luna condescendingly. “If it wasn’t me, don’t tell me you planted it?“
Luna curled her lips, raised her eyes, and looked at Joshua coldly. “Mr. Lynch, do you also think your wife was the one who planted it?“
Joshua’s expression darkened immediately. He remembered where the hickey on his neck came from.
Last night, he was stargazing with Luna on the roof. He was drunk and somehow the two of them started kissing. He remembered they kissed for a long time; Luna even recklessly left a hickey on his neck.
Later, the alcohol overtook his brain, and his mind fuddled. But he vaguely remembered he had slept with a woman. He thought he had spent the whole night with Luna, but unexpectedly when he woke up in the morning, the woman lying beside him was Alice!
He was confused and also worried something could have happened to her…
In the end, by the time he rushed to her room, he saw her with Theo, barely dressed at all!
Fury, confusion, disappointment…
A myriad of emotions surged in his chest.
And yet this woman could so shamelessly mention the hickey on his neck in front of him?
Did she not know how to spell the word ‘shameless’? She had been kissing him on the rooftop in the wee hours of the morning and now there was another man in her bed!
At this thought, Joshua laughed coldly, “Of course the hickey on my neck was planted by Alice.“ He looked at her coldly. “If it wasn’t Alice, don’t tell me it’s from you?“
He crossed his arms over his chest, his gaze deep and cold. “Ms. Luna, don’t tell me you’re trying to say, last night you kissed me first, then spent the night with Mr. Allen? When you were having fun with him last night, were you also speaking to Mr. Quinn on the phone?“

The readers' comments on the novel: Will you marry me, My Ex-Wife (Luna and Joshua)
Luna is sooo stupid!...
This story line is sickening… her children, Nellie in particular, do not like Malcolm. She is already married to Joshua, the father of her children who loves her more than Malcolm ever could. Just disgusting....
Another “misunderstanding”…… poor Luna, why can’t she just say the Quinns kidnapped me instead of assuming Joshua is doing the wrong thing. Terrible....
I sure hope Aura gets arrested and pays for her many crimes soon, along with Adrian and Michael. Joshua and Luna need peace with their children....
Joshua is stupid, he says he loves Luna but refuses to tell her the truth thinking he can never recover from all the deceit, if he told the truth he could redeem himself and live a happy life with his family rather than continue to protect a bunch of evil criminals. Terrible decisions by a man who is smart enough to run a multi faceted company....
Omg this author is twisted!! When does Luna catch a break! This is awful. Aurasnd Fiona are evil, evil women and are using the children to commit their crimes 🤬...
And now the author has made it sound like he cares more for Fiona who he has only known a couple of weeks than Luna, his wife, the love of his life. Stupid and pathetically disgusting....
Wow, making Joshua out to be so stupid, ugh. Yes he told this horrible bitch he would accompany her until she died, but she lied about her fake illness so I guess he’ll have to live with her forever! He also promised to love, honor and cherish his wife Luna however seems to forget that with each passing malicious mistress, Aura, Alice and now Fiona. Awful. Let’s get past this into some storyline that involves some happiness for Luna… the only woman who truly cares for and loves him. Get rid of Fiona, soon....
So disgusted with this Fiona storyline, hope it doesn’t last much longer. Joshua told her when they made the deal he had someone in his heart and would not sleep with her. They could be faking a relationship and he doesn’t have to be so nasty to Luna and the kids. It’s heartbreaking and giving him another ridiculous relationship is unnecessary. Just makes more misunderstandings for Luna and harder for her to forgive him....
Joshua is in the wrong, even if Fiona asked him to keep their fake relationship a secret he should have told Luna what was going on. After all, supposedly he lives Luna and the children and is doing this for them. Being deceiving is not working for him....
