“Theo.“
When Theo’s hand was on the door handle, Luna frowned and called out to him, “Don’t go.“
Theo frowned, turned, and looked at her, confusion etched across his features. “Why not? He did those things with you last night, then he brought me here, and made it look like the both of us were together! Because he was worried his wife would find out ! A man like him, we should expose him in front of his wife, and ruin his image! “
“What good will that do us?“ Luna closed her eyes and smiled bitterly. No one else knew Alice’s identity, but she did. Back then, Hailey was so deeply in love with Joshua, she was even willing to go through plastic surgery to look like the person she hated the most… She did all of that just to be together with Joshua. That was why, even if Alice knew what happened between Luna and Joshua, nothing would change. She would not leave him, at most she would make Joshua coax her and placate her. It was meaningless.
Theo frowned. “Then we’ll just allow this incident to pass, just like this?“
Luna squinted. “For the moment, yes.“ She could not create too much of a fuss out of this. After all,
she had yet to get pregnant with Joshua’s child. She had to continue lying in wait.
Theo clenched his hands tightly into fists and slammed them onto the tabletop. “They’re too much! “
A long while later, he retracted his fists, raised his head, and looked at Luna seriously. “Can I… be your boyfriend?“
Luna paused. A moment later, she smiled. “You deserve a better woman than me.“ With that, she left the bed and entered the bathroom. “Can you go downstairs and buy me some breakfast? “ After last night’s intense workout, she was fairly hungry.
Theo looked at her from behind and was about to say something, but stopped himself in the end.
“Joshua, eat something.“
In the room next door, Alice gently placed Joshua’s breakfast in front of him. “I purposely asked the chef to prepare this for you, your favorite sandwich.“

The readers' comments on the novel: Will you marry me, My Ex-Wife (Luna and Joshua)
Luna is sooo stupid!...
This story line is sickening… her children, Nellie in particular, do not like Malcolm. She is already married to Joshua, the father of her children who loves her more than Malcolm ever could. Just disgusting....
Another “misunderstanding”…… poor Luna, why can’t she just say the Quinns kidnapped me instead of assuming Joshua is doing the wrong thing. Terrible....
I sure hope Aura gets arrested and pays for her many crimes soon, along with Adrian and Michael. Joshua and Luna need peace with their children....
Joshua is stupid, he says he loves Luna but refuses to tell her the truth thinking he can never recover from all the deceit, if he told the truth he could redeem himself and live a happy life with his family rather than continue to protect a bunch of evil criminals. Terrible decisions by a man who is smart enough to run a multi faceted company....
Omg this author is twisted!! When does Luna catch a break! This is awful. Aurasnd Fiona are evil, evil women and are using the children to commit their crimes 🤬...
And now the author has made it sound like he cares more for Fiona who he has only known a couple of weeks than Luna, his wife, the love of his life. Stupid and pathetically disgusting....
Wow, making Joshua out to be so stupid, ugh. Yes he told this horrible bitch he would accompany her until she died, but she lied about her fake illness so I guess he’ll have to live with her forever! He also promised to love, honor and cherish his wife Luna however seems to forget that with each passing malicious mistress, Aura, Alice and now Fiona. Awful. Let’s get past this into some storyline that involves some happiness for Luna… the only woman who truly cares for and loves him. Get rid of Fiona, soon....
So disgusted with this Fiona storyline, hope it doesn’t last much longer. Joshua told her when they made the deal he had someone in his heart and would not sleep with her. They could be faking a relationship and he doesn’t have to be so nasty to Luna and the kids. It’s heartbreaking and giving him another ridiculous relationship is unnecessary. Just makes more misunderstandings for Luna and harder for her to forgive him....
Joshua is in the wrong, even if Fiona asked him to keep their fake relationship a secret he should have told Luna what was going on. After all, supposedly he lives Luna and the children and is doing this for them. Being deceiving is not working for him....
