She could not always have control over the man that crashed into her with ease and kicked her off the bridge. Luna had to quickly find proof of Jason committing murder.
However, the incident happened six years ago. There was no surveillance nor witnesses. The bridge was rebuilt.
It was extremely challenging if she wanted to find proof.
Luna closed her eyes and let out a long sigh. She…did not know where to begin.
Because she did not sleep well that night, the next morning, Luna started making coffee for herself the moment she reached the office.
After two cups of coffee, she finally felt less sleepy.
She turned on a computer and saw an email in her inbox.
It was an email from Jason. It was the recording of the conversation he had with Alice the day before. The moment Luna saw the conversation, she could not help but frown.
Alice might not expect that Jason would protect himself against her, too.
Luna put on her headphones, listening to Alice’s voice in the recording. Her smile turned colder.
“Director Luna! “
Before she could finish the recording, Shannon immediately pushed the door and entered!
“Something bad has happened! “
Luna immediately took off her headphones. “What happened?“
Shannon was a mature person and was usually polite. If she hurriedly pushed the door and entered, something big must have happened.
“Irene.“ Shannon was sweating profusely. “The one that knelt and apologized to you yesterday. She jumped off the building! Although she didn’t die, she was close. She’s currently in the hospital being resuscitated. Before she jumped, she even left a note saying…“
Shannon paused for a while. “It said that if she died, you’re the main culprit. Irene grew up in the countryside, and her family used up all they had to pay for her education. She was hired to be an assistant at Lynch Group once she graduated, yet she encountered such a thing…“
Then, Shannon sighed. “People on the internet are talking about this now: her teachers, schoolmates, and even people from the same place as her are scolding and humiliating you. They said that you used your powers and tried to kill Irene.“

The readers' comments on the novel: Will you marry me, My Ex-Wife (Luna and Joshua)
Luna is sooo stupid!...
This story line is sickening… her children, Nellie in particular, do not like Malcolm. She is already married to Joshua, the father of her children who loves her more than Malcolm ever could. Just disgusting....
Another “misunderstanding”…… poor Luna, why can’t she just say the Quinns kidnapped me instead of assuming Joshua is doing the wrong thing. Terrible....
I sure hope Aura gets arrested and pays for her many crimes soon, along with Adrian and Michael. Joshua and Luna need peace with their children....
Joshua is stupid, he says he loves Luna but refuses to tell her the truth thinking he can never recover from all the deceit, if he told the truth he could redeem himself and live a happy life with his family rather than continue to protect a bunch of evil criminals. Terrible decisions by a man who is smart enough to run a multi faceted company....
Omg this author is twisted!! When does Luna catch a break! This is awful. Aurasnd Fiona are evil, evil women and are using the children to commit their crimes 🤬...
And now the author has made it sound like he cares more for Fiona who he has only known a couple of weeks than Luna, his wife, the love of his life. Stupid and pathetically disgusting....
Wow, making Joshua out to be so stupid, ugh. Yes he told this horrible bitch he would accompany her until she died, but she lied about her fake illness so I guess he’ll have to live with her forever! He also promised to love, honor and cherish his wife Luna however seems to forget that with each passing malicious mistress, Aura, Alice and now Fiona. Awful. Let’s get past this into some storyline that involves some happiness for Luna… the only woman who truly cares for and loves him. Get rid of Fiona, soon....
So disgusted with this Fiona storyline, hope it doesn’t last much longer. Joshua told her when they made the deal he had someone in his heart and would not sleep with her. They could be faking a relationship and he doesn’t have to be so nasty to Luna and the kids. It’s heartbreaking and giving him another ridiculous relationship is unnecessary. Just makes more misunderstandings for Luna and harder for her to forgive him....
Joshua is in the wrong, even if Fiona asked him to keep their fake relationship a secret he should have told Luna what was going on. After all, supposedly he lives Luna and the children and is doing this for them. Being deceiving is not working for him....
