“I will.“ After reminding Theo of some important details, Luna finally hung up. Putting away her phone, she closed her eyes and leaned back on the leather upholstery of the car, her thoughts in a mess.
If not for what happened to Gwen, maybe she… would not consider taking revenge against Alice. She was a woman too, she understood too well how painful it was to go through what Gwen experienced. And the source of this pain was Alice’s hatred towards Luna. If this time she did not make Alice show her true colors and force Joshua to expose her true identity, all the pain that Gwen suffered would be in vain.
She intentionally sent Theo abroad because of this too. One of her friends had already suffered. If unfortunately, she failed, she did not want to drag Theo down with her.
“What are you thinking about?“ All of a sudden, Luke’s voice dragged Luna’s mind back to the present. She opened her eyes and smiled in his direction. “I heard you have been busy getting rid of the Walter family’s and Liam Clark’s remaining followers?“
Luke laughed, “Why?“
Luna raised her eyes, looking at him calmly and indifferently. “I can help you.“
The man lifted his eyebrows, opened the car door and climbed back into the passenger seat, then raised his eyes and looked forward. “How?“
By the time Luna and Luke finished discussing Alice, it was already past 11 a.m. The moment the conversation between them ended, Luke’s phone rang, it was a call from Gwen. Luke pressed the button for the loudspeaker.
“This is Luke Larson.“
The woman’s voice drifting from the other end of the phone was still very weak, her breath unsteady. “ Are you lying to me again? You said Luna is here, where is she? Luke, I ‘m begging you, please don’t treat me like a fool again, please?“
At Gwen’s words, Liam could not help himself and raised his eyebrows at Luna. “Say something.“

The readers' comments on the novel: Will you marry me, My Ex-Wife (Luna and Joshua)
Luna is sooo stupid!...
This story line is sickening… her children, Nellie in particular, do not like Malcolm. She is already married to Joshua, the father of her children who loves her more than Malcolm ever could. Just disgusting....
Another “misunderstanding”…… poor Luna, why can’t she just say the Quinns kidnapped me instead of assuming Joshua is doing the wrong thing. Terrible....
I sure hope Aura gets arrested and pays for her many crimes soon, along with Adrian and Michael. Joshua and Luna need peace with their children....
Joshua is stupid, he says he loves Luna but refuses to tell her the truth thinking he can never recover from all the deceit, if he told the truth he could redeem himself and live a happy life with his family rather than continue to protect a bunch of evil criminals. Terrible decisions by a man who is smart enough to run a multi faceted company....
Omg this author is twisted!! When does Luna catch a break! This is awful. Aurasnd Fiona are evil, evil women and are using the children to commit their crimes 🤬...
And now the author has made it sound like he cares more for Fiona who he has only known a couple of weeks than Luna, his wife, the love of his life. Stupid and pathetically disgusting....
Wow, making Joshua out to be so stupid, ugh. Yes he told this horrible bitch he would accompany her until she died, but she lied about her fake illness so I guess he’ll have to live with her forever! He also promised to love, honor and cherish his wife Luna however seems to forget that with each passing malicious mistress, Aura, Alice and now Fiona. Awful. Let’s get past this into some storyline that involves some happiness for Luna… the only woman who truly cares for and loves him. Get rid of Fiona, soon....
So disgusted with this Fiona storyline, hope it doesn’t last much longer. Joshua told her when they made the deal he had someone in his heart and would not sleep with her. They could be faking a relationship and he doesn’t have to be so nasty to Luna and the kids. It’s heartbreaking and giving him another ridiculous relationship is unnecessary. Just makes more misunderstandings for Luna and harder for her to forgive him....
Joshua is in the wrong, even if Fiona asked him to keep their fake relationship a secret he should have told Luna what was going on. After all, supposedly he lives Luna and the children and is doing this for them. Being deceiving is not working for him....
