Joshua smiled faintly, lowering his eyes as he fiddled with his coffee mug. ”Initially, the way I wanted you to repay my kindness was by continuing to helm the project for next season’s jewelry designs.
Unexpectedly… you got the wrong idea, Ms. Luna. ”
He raised his head and looked at her, seeming to be in a good mood. ”Then it is decided. I’ll help you persuade Luke, and you’ll help me… ”
Luna was so embarrassed she wanted to bury her head in the ground and die, she was worried he would really say he wanted her to give birth to his child, so she hurriedly opened her mouth to interrupt him. ”I’ll help you with the jewelry projects for the next season.”
Luna sat in her spot and watched his retreating back, her entire body stiff. She raised a hand and patted her cheek, muscles frozen from prolonged smiling. How could she accidentally say such a thing? Maybe her mind had been quite scattered recently. Since she could not approach Joshua, could not sleep with him, even in her dreams she dreamt about getting pregnant. That’s why she let the words slip out of her accidentally.
After Joshua left, Luna sat in the coffee shop and finished her coffee before paying the bill and left.
The moment she walked out of the exit, she immediately noticed there was a man standing on the street opposite the coffee shop. That man was wearing jeans and a black jacket, his long hair blown into a mess by the wind, looking dirty and disheveled.
He was looking in her direction. When she looked toward him, their eyes met. When they looked at each other, the man smiled creepily, pulling down the jacket that covered his face, and that terrible, monster-like face was exposed.
Luna paused violently. It was not anyone else but the man that was captured by Joshua’s subordinates for trying to assassinate her at night, Jason Lane.
Jason smiled in Luna’s direction, then made a slashing motion across his neck, and turned to leave.
Luna’s brows furrowed tightly together.

Luna is sooo stupid!...
This story line is sickening… her children, Nellie in particular, do not like Malcolm. She is already married to Joshua, the father of her children who loves her more than Malcolm ever could. Just disgusting....
Another “misunderstanding”…… poor Luna, why can’t she just say the Quinns kidnapped me instead of assuming Joshua is doing the wrong thing. Terrible....
I sure hope Aura gets arrested and pays for her many crimes soon, along with Adrian and Michael. Joshua and Luna need peace with their children....
Joshua is stupid, he says he loves Luna but refuses to tell her the truth thinking he can never recover from all the deceit, if he told the truth he could redeem himself and live a happy life with his family rather than continue to protect a bunch of evil criminals. Terrible decisions by a man who is smart enough to run a multi faceted company....
Omg this author is twisted!! When does Luna catch a break! This is awful. Aurasnd Fiona are evil, evil women and are using the children to commit their crimes 🤬...
And now the author has made it sound like he cares more for Fiona who he has only known a couple of weeks than Luna, his wife, the love of his life. Stupid and pathetically disgusting....
Wow, making Joshua out to be so stupid, ugh. Yes he told this horrible bitch he would accompany her until she died, but she lied about her fake illness so I guess he’ll have to live with her forever! He also promised to love, honor and cherish his wife Luna however seems to forget that with each passing malicious mistress, Aura, Alice and now Fiona. Awful. Let’s get past this into some storyline that involves some happiness for Luna… the only woman who truly cares for and loves him. Get rid of Fiona, soon....
So disgusted with this Fiona storyline, hope it doesn’t last much longer. Joshua told her when they made the deal he had someone in his heart and would not sleep with her. They could be faking a relationship and he doesn’t have to be so nasty to Luna and the kids. It’s heartbreaking and giving him another ridiculous relationship is unnecessary. Just makes more misunderstandings for Luna and harder for her to forgive him....
Joshua is in the wrong, even if Fiona asked him to keep their fake relationship a secret he should have told Luna what was going on. After all, supposedly he lives Luna and the children and is doing this for them. Being deceiving is not working for him....
