Luna paused, then let out a sigh and glanced at the doctor. “I’m not sure yet. It’s just a suspicion.“
“Are you planning to abort the fetus if you’re pregnant?“
Luna shook her head. “I want to…give birth to it without him knowing.“
The doctor nodded, then scribbled something else on her notes, her brows furrowed. “So I take it that you want to do a blood test and test your hormone levels? If you don’t want him to find out, I suggest we do some other checkups just to throw him off the scent.“
Luna nodded and smiled at the doctor before her. “
Thank you.“
The doctor beamed at her. “It’s no big deal.“ Then, she glanced at Luna and asked, “Are you friends with Gwen Larson?“
Luna froze, then nodded. “Yes, I am.“
“You two are an interesting pair. One can’t afford to have an abortion but still insists on it, and the other can but chooses to keep the baby instead. It’d be perfect if you two could switch.“ The doctor tore the prescription note out and could not help adding, “ She’s a lucky woman to have someone like Luke Jones be at her beck and call all day.“
Luna gave her a bitter smile and took the
prescription note from her. “She’s had it rough, too.“
“All women have it rough, “ the doctor said with a wink before leaving the room.
A few moments later, a nurse entered the room to draw Luna’s blood and conduct a series of tests.
It did not take long for the blood test results to come out. When the nurse finished the final body checkup, she had already received the results and handed Luna the lab report.
Luna took the report from her and, seeing that no one was around, snuck into the bathroom to have a look.
Luna sat down on the toilet bowl in one of the cubicles and flipped open the report.
She was pregnant.
The blood test showed that her hormone levels were indicative of early stages of pregnancy. According to the hormonal assay, this fetus…was almost three months old now.
Luna’s hand that held the report started to tremble at what she read.

The readers' comments on the novel: Will you marry me, My Ex-Wife (Luna and Joshua)
Luna is sooo stupid!...
This story line is sickening… her children, Nellie in particular, do not like Malcolm. She is already married to Joshua, the father of her children who loves her more than Malcolm ever could. Just disgusting....
Another “misunderstanding”…… poor Luna, why can’t she just say the Quinns kidnapped me instead of assuming Joshua is doing the wrong thing. Terrible....
I sure hope Aura gets arrested and pays for her many crimes soon, along with Adrian and Michael. Joshua and Luna need peace with their children....
Joshua is stupid, he says he loves Luna but refuses to tell her the truth thinking he can never recover from all the deceit, if he told the truth he could redeem himself and live a happy life with his family rather than continue to protect a bunch of evil criminals. Terrible decisions by a man who is smart enough to run a multi faceted company....
Omg this author is twisted!! When does Luna catch a break! This is awful. Aurasnd Fiona are evil, evil women and are using the children to commit their crimes 🤬...
And now the author has made it sound like he cares more for Fiona who he has only known a couple of weeks than Luna, his wife, the love of his life. Stupid and pathetically disgusting....
Wow, making Joshua out to be so stupid, ugh. Yes he told this horrible bitch he would accompany her until she died, but she lied about her fake illness so I guess he’ll have to live with her forever! He also promised to love, honor and cherish his wife Luna however seems to forget that with each passing malicious mistress, Aura, Alice and now Fiona. Awful. Let’s get past this into some storyline that involves some happiness for Luna… the only woman who truly cares for and loves him. Get rid of Fiona, soon....
So disgusted with this Fiona storyline, hope it doesn’t last much longer. Joshua told her when they made the deal he had someone in his heart and would not sleep with her. They could be faking a relationship and he doesn’t have to be so nasty to Luna and the kids. It’s heartbreaking and giving him another ridiculous relationship is unnecessary. Just makes more misunderstandings for Luna and harder for her to forgive him....
Joshua is in the wrong, even if Fiona asked him to keep their fake relationship a secret he should have told Luna what was going on. After all, supposedly he lives Luna and the children and is doing this for them. Being deceiving is not working for him....
