If that happened, then even if Luna managed to give birth to her new baby and save Nigel, she and her child would still be forever indebted to Gwen.
As soon as she thought of this, Luna let out a sigh and lowered her voice. “Have you forgotten that Luke’s men are protecting me? You don’t have to worry about Jason. As for Alice, I haven’t seen her in a long time now. Besides, she’s after Joshua, not me. I just have to keep my distance from him for the time being.
“I’ll try to convince Luke to let you do the surgery as soon as possible… I ‘ll leave this country as soon as you’ve undergone the abortion.“
Gwen paused for a moment, then nodded in agreement. She sighed and grabbed hold of Luna’s hand. “You and your child will be fine.“
As soon as Joshua got back to the hotel, Alice immediately went up to him. First, she took his jacket and hung it on the coat rack, then retrieved his slippers for him like an obedient wife. She led him to the dining table and offered him a bowl of the crème brûlée she had made.
Joshua sat down at the dining table, gracefully
picked up a spoon, and took a bite. “It tastes good. “
“Really? You’ve been busy at work and away from home a lot lately, so I specially researched what desserts to make and decided to enroll in a cooking class,“ Alice lied.
She was right about enrolling in a cooking class. However, contrary to what she claimed, the cooking class was just an activity for her to pass the time. The crème brûlée that she claimed to have made herself actually came from the restaurant downstairs.
Alice thought she had concocted the perfect lie, but she forgot that she had left the takeout box in the trash can next to the hotel room door.
Joshua had noticed the takeout box as soon as he entered the room, though he did not feel like exposing Alice’s lies.
“That’s so sweet of you.“ Joshua smiled as he took another bite. “It’s delicious. You can probably sell this if you want.“
Alice blushed when she heard this and feigned modesty. “I’m happy that you like it.“ With that, she brought out another bowl of crème brûlée for Joshua.

The readers' comments on the novel: Will you marry me, My Ex-Wife (Luna and Joshua)
Luna is sooo stupid!...
This story line is sickening… her children, Nellie in particular, do not like Malcolm. She is already married to Joshua, the father of her children who loves her more than Malcolm ever could. Just disgusting....
Another “misunderstanding”…… poor Luna, why can’t she just say the Quinns kidnapped me instead of assuming Joshua is doing the wrong thing. Terrible....
I sure hope Aura gets arrested and pays for her many crimes soon, along with Adrian and Michael. Joshua and Luna need peace with their children....
Joshua is stupid, he says he loves Luna but refuses to tell her the truth thinking he can never recover from all the deceit, if he told the truth he could redeem himself and live a happy life with his family rather than continue to protect a bunch of evil criminals. Terrible decisions by a man who is smart enough to run a multi faceted company....
Omg this author is twisted!! When does Luna catch a break! This is awful. Aurasnd Fiona are evil, evil women and are using the children to commit their crimes 🤬...
And now the author has made it sound like he cares more for Fiona who he has only known a couple of weeks than Luna, his wife, the love of his life. Stupid and pathetically disgusting....
Wow, making Joshua out to be so stupid, ugh. Yes he told this horrible bitch he would accompany her until she died, but she lied about her fake illness so I guess he’ll have to live with her forever! He also promised to love, honor and cherish his wife Luna however seems to forget that with each passing malicious mistress, Aura, Alice and now Fiona. Awful. Let’s get past this into some storyline that involves some happiness for Luna… the only woman who truly cares for and loves him. Get rid of Fiona, soon....
So disgusted with this Fiona storyline, hope it doesn’t last much longer. Joshua told her when they made the deal he had someone in his heart and would not sleep with her. They could be faking a relationship and he doesn’t have to be so nasty to Luna and the kids. It’s heartbreaking and giving him another ridiculous relationship is unnecessary. Just makes more misunderstandings for Luna and harder for her to forgive him....
Joshua is in the wrong, even if Fiona asked him to keep their fake relationship a secret he should have told Luna what was going on. After all, supposedly he lives Luna and the children and is doing this for them. Being deceiving is not working for him....
