Luna remained in her seat and watched Jason disappear into the night. She suddenly felt a little cold and could not help shivering.
She closed her eyes and remained seated for a long while after that, enjoying the cool sea breeze before she slowly stood up and hailed a taxi back to her hotel.
Luna did not manage to sleep well the entire night. She dreamt a lot of things.
At first, she dreamed that Jason and Bonnie had gotten married, but Jason murdered Bonnie after that, claimed her inheritance and insurance money for himself, and spent the rest of his life carefree and happy.
After that, Joshua appeared and stared down at her while, at the same time, ordering someone to abort her baby.
In her next dream, she failed to save Nigel and watched him die before her.
After she woke up from her last nightmare, Luna could no longer fall asleep, simultaneously feeling her morning sickness acting up again.
She clung onto the rim of the toilet bowl and vomited over and over again at 3 a.m. in the morning.
After a while, Luna got exhausted from all her vomiting and rinsed her mouth. Slumping against the sofa, she stared at the dark sky outside the
window but did not dare to fall asleep.
It was already difficult enough being a pregnant woman, but with other things to worry about, it felt even more challenging than ever.
Luna knew that she had to get more rest, but she could not bring herself to do so and instead stayed up till sunrise.
She took a quick nap and, at 7 a.m., finally woke up. After freshening up, she made her way to the hospital.
Yesterday, she and Gwen had decided to invite Luke over to the hospital today so that Luna could convince him to let Gwen undergo her abortion.
Luna hoped to achieve this as quickly as possible so that she could leave Banyan City and meet up with Theo soon.
As soon as Luna arrived at the hospital and pushed open the door to Gwen’s ward, she sensed that something was wrong.
The atmosphere in the room felt a little eerie.

The readers' comments on the novel: Will you marry me, My Ex-Wife (Luna and Joshua)
Luna is sooo stupid!...
This story line is sickening… her children, Nellie in particular, do not like Malcolm. She is already married to Joshua, the father of her children who loves her more than Malcolm ever could. Just disgusting....
Another “misunderstanding”…… poor Luna, why can’t she just say the Quinns kidnapped me instead of assuming Joshua is doing the wrong thing. Terrible....
I sure hope Aura gets arrested and pays for her many crimes soon, along with Adrian and Michael. Joshua and Luna need peace with their children....
Joshua is stupid, he says he loves Luna but refuses to tell her the truth thinking he can never recover from all the deceit, if he told the truth he could redeem himself and live a happy life with his family rather than continue to protect a bunch of evil criminals. Terrible decisions by a man who is smart enough to run a multi faceted company....
Omg this author is twisted!! When does Luna catch a break! This is awful. Aurasnd Fiona are evil, evil women and are using the children to commit their crimes 🤬...
And now the author has made it sound like he cares more for Fiona who he has only known a couple of weeks than Luna, his wife, the love of his life. Stupid and pathetically disgusting....
Wow, making Joshua out to be so stupid, ugh. Yes he told this horrible bitch he would accompany her until she died, but she lied about her fake illness so I guess he’ll have to live with her forever! He also promised to love, honor and cherish his wife Luna however seems to forget that with each passing malicious mistress, Aura, Alice and now Fiona. Awful. Let’s get past this into some storyline that involves some happiness for Luna… the only woman who truly cares for and loves him. Get rid of Fiona, soon....
So disgusted with this Fiona storyline, hope it doesn’t last much longer. Joshua told her when they made the deal he had someone in his heart and would not sleep with her. They could be faking a relationship and he doesn’t have to be so nasty to Luna and the kids. It’s heartbreaking and giving him another ridiculous relationship is unnecessary. Just makes more misunderstandings for Luna and harder for her to forgive him....
Joshua is in the wrong, even if Fiona asked him to keep their fake relationship a secret he should have told Luna what was going on. After all, supposedly he lives Luna and the children and is doing this for them. Being deceiving is not working for him....
