Joshua sighed, then he turned and left.
He understood Nigel’s reluctance. He also knew that Nigel was like Nellie, reluctant to accept the truth.
However, he was an adult, and he had to face the cold, harsh reality.
The scene had so much blood belonging to Neil and Theo…
The doctors said that from the amount of blood bled, if they were not sent to the hospital in time after the incident, they would not have survived even if they escaped.
Also, at that time, there were only Neil and Theo at the scene. Those charred body bits…
If they did not belong to them, who else?
At that thought, Joshua took a deep breath. He stopped in his tracks.
“Help me get your men to search around.” Luke paused a little.
“Why do you want my men to search?” Joshua said nothing and left.
Luke looked at Joshua’s back, brows slightly furrowed as he did.
Luna hugged Nigel and cried for a long time.
In the end, Nigel gently hugged Luna. “Mommy, let me treat you to a meal.“
Luna, who was hugging Nigel, paused a little.
She looked at Nigel, stunned. “Treat me to a meal?“
“Mmh.“ Nigel nodded seriously. “Although I just came back to Banyan City not long ago, I know a good restaurant! Aunt Anne took me there previously.“
Nigel pushed Luna away and looked at her seriously. “I ‘ll get Lily to take Nellie over. We can have a meal together as a family, all three of us. What do you say?“
Luna paused for a while before nodding seriously. “ That’s a great idea.“
At that moment, Nellie was in Joshua’s car. She wanted to see Nellie but did not want to go to where Joshua was staying. She did not want to see that man.
Nigel treating them to a meal as an excuse and getting Lily to bring Nellie over was indeed the best option.
Luna and Nigel discussed it for a while before they called Lily and returned to their respective rooms.
Luna sat in front of the mirror, looking at Gwen and Anne helping her put on makeup.
“Put more foundation to cover up my face.

The readers' comments on the novel: Will you marry me, My Ex-Wife (Luna and Joshua)
Luna is sooo stupid!...
This story line is sickening… her children, Nellie in particular, do not like Malcolm. She is already married to Joshua, the father of her children who loves her more than Malcolm ever could. Just disgusting....
Another “misunderstanding”…… poor Luna, why can’t she just say the Quinns kidnapped me instead of assuming Joshua is doing the wrong thing. Terrible....
I sure hope Aura gets arrested and pays for her many crimes soon, along with Adrian and Michael. Joshua and Luna need peace with their children....
Joshua is stupid, he says he loves Luna but refuses to tell her the truth thinking he can never recover from all the deceit, if he told the truth he could redeem himself and live a happy life with his family rather than continue to protect a bunch of evil criminals. Terrible decisions by a man who is smart enough to run a multi faceted company....
Omg this author is twisted!! When does Luna catch a break! This is awful. Aurasnd Fiona are evil, evil women and are using the children to commit their crimes 🤬...
And now the author has made it sound like he cares more for Fiona who he has only known a couple of weeks than Luna, his wife, the love of his life. Stupid and pathetically disgusting....
Wow, making Joshua out to be so stupid, ugh. Yes he told this horrible bitch he would accompany her until she died, but she lied about her fake illness so I guess he’ll have to live with her forever! He also promised to love, honor and cherish his wife Luna however seems to forget that with each passing malicious mistress, Aura, Alice and now Fiona. Awful. Let’s get past this into some storyline that involves some happiness for Luna… the only woman who truly cares for and loves him. Get rid of Fiona, soon....
So disgusted with this Fiona storyline, hope it doesn’t last much longer. Joshua told her when they made the deal he had someone in his heart and would not sleep with her. They could be faking a relationship and he doesn’t have to be so nasty to Luna and the kids. It’s heartbreaking and giving him another ridiculous relationship is unnecessary. Just makes more misunderstandings for Luna and harder for her to forgive him....
Joshua is in the wrong, even if Fiona asked him to keep their fake relationship a secret he should have told Luna what was going on. After all, supposedly he lives Luna and the children and is doing this for them. Being deceiving is not working for him....
