A misunderstanding?
Luna harrumphed coldly. She swept Bonnie a flat gaze.
“You might believe what Jason says, but I don’t.”
Luna felt that Jason only told Bonnie that he was not well acquainted with Joshua and was most likely trying to help cover for the things that Joshua has done.
“Luna, although Jason has also lied to me about other things, there is no need for him to lie to me about this. You…”
Before Bonnie could finish her sentence, her phone rang.
It was Jason.
Sitting in the restaurant, Jason looked at both of them outside through the window coldly.
“Are you done? Are we still eating or not?”
His tone was a little fierce. Bonnie’s heart skipped a beat. “Yes, yes, we’ll eat! “
Then, she immediately hung up and pulled Luna back into the restaurant.
Once the waiters had served all the dishes, Bonnie urged Luna to start eating.
Luna ate very little.
The entire meal, she was observing Jason.
After a long while, when they finished the meal, Luna calmly placed her utensils down and swept Jason a glance.
“Your conversation with Joshua just now didn’t seem to go very well?“
It was fine when Luna did not mention Joshua. However, upon the mention of Joshua, Jason was aggravated.
He thought that he was about to become Bonnie’s husband, he would be somewhat a public figure in Banyan City, so Joshua should at least treat him with respect.
However, Joshua did not.
Jason looked at Luna and sneered, “Yes, we argued. Because I was not willing to help Joshua lie to you, so he got mad.“
Then, Jason harrumphed coldly. He initially wanted to say something else, but Bonnie involuntarily clutched her tummy. Her face turned pale. “My…my tummy hurts.“
Joshua furrowed his brows and looked at her impatiently. “Didn’t your period just end?“
Bonnie was in so much pain she was sweating profusely. “I don’t think this is about my period. My tummy just hurts.“
Bonnie bit her lips. “I want to go to the hospital.“

The readers' comments on the novel: Will you marry me, My Ex-Wife (Luna and Joshua)
Luna is sooo stupid!...
This story line is sickening… her children, Nellie in particular, do not like Malcolm. She is already married to Joshua, the father of her children who loves her more than Malcolm ever could. Just disgusting....
Another “misunderstanding”…… poor Luna, why can’t she just say the Quinns kidnapped me instead of assuming Joshua is doing the wrong thing. Terrible....
I sure hope Aura gets arrested and pays for her many crimes soon, along with Adrian and Michael. Joshua and Luna need peace with their children....
Joshua is stupid, he says he loves Luna but refuses to tell her the truth thinking he can never recover from all the deceit, if he told the truth he could redeem himself and live a happy life with his family rather than continue to protect a bunch of evil criminals. Terrible decisions by a man who is smart enough to run a multi faceted company....
Omg this author is twisted!! When does Luna catch a break! This is awful. Aurasnd Fiona are evil, evil women and are using the children to commit their crimes 🤬...
And now the author has made it sound like he cares more for Fiona who he has only known a couple of weeks than Luna, his wife, the love of his life. Stupid and pathetically disgusting....
Wow, making Joshua out to be so stupid, ugh. Yes he told this horrible bitch he would accompany her until she died, but she lied about her fake illness so I guess he’ll have to live with her forever! He also promised to love, honor and cherish his wife Luna however seems to forget that with each passing malicious mistress, Aura, Alice and now Fiona. Awful. Let’s get past this into some storyline that involves some happiness for Luna… the only woman who truly cares for and loves him. Get rid of Fiona, soon....
So disgusted with this Fiona storyline, hope it doesn’t last much longer. Joshua told her when they made the deal he had someone in his heart and would not sleep with her. They could be faking a relationship and he doesn’t have to be so nasty to Luna and the kids. It’s heartbreaking and giving him another ridiculous relationship is unnecessary. Just makes more misunderstandings for Luna and harder for her to forgive him....
Joshua is in the wrong, even if Fiona asked him to keep their fake relationship a secret he should have told Luna what was going on. After all, supposedly he lives Luna and the children and is doing this for them. Being deceiving is not working for him....
