Smells of blood?
Luna furrowed her brows and tried to sniff hard. The air truly had a thick scent of blood.
Luna was instantly alarmed!
Would Jason have….
Jude, next to Luna, also could not help but worry. Although Bonnie was just a distant relative, the Craig family had gone through such an ordeal previously. At that moment, Bonnie was the only heir left in the entire Craig family.
The Craig family line would have died.
At that moment, one of Jude’s men bent down. He skillfully tossed a dash of powder on the ground.
Soon, the powder turned pink. “Reaction to blood.“
The man furrowed his brows, lifted his head, and looked at Jude. “Sir, don’t worry, the person that we are looking for is still fine.“
He pointed at the powder that changed color on the ground.
“When I smelt blood just now, I thought that something was off. It did not smell like fresh blood, more like the blood that has been there for a long time. Pouring the powder on the ground, we did find signs of blood that had been washed away by water.“ He followed the trail of blood and looked at the door crack.
“It looks like it came from there. If it’s not fresh blood, it would most likely be that someone has died here previously.“
Luna was stunned and subconsciously took a step back.
Upon hearing that Bonnie was probably not dead, Jude furrowed his brows. He directly got someone to listen to the movements in the room. In the end, they planned to break the door and intrude.
The few trained men in black directly crashed the door open and rushed in with the speed of lightning. They apprehended Jason who was sharpening his knife.
Once the door was kicked open, a strong scent of blood wafted to their noses.
Luna and Jude furrowed their brows at the same time.
The two of them turned back to cover their noses before turning around once again and looking into the room.
The room was in a miserable state, so much so that Luna could not help but gag.
On the sofa, Jason was being pinned by someone. He struggled.
Opposite the sofa on a chair, Bonnie was being tied up in the chair.
In between the sofa and chair…

The readers' comments on the novel: Will you marry me, My Ex-Wife (Luna and Joshua)
Luna is sooo stupid!...
This story line is sickening… her children, Nellie in particular, do not like Malcolm. She is already married to Joshua, the father of her children who loves her more than Malcolm ever could. Just disgusting....
Another “misunderstanding”…… poor Luna, why can’t she just say the Quinns kidnapped me instead of assuming Joshua is doing the wrong thing. Terrible....
I sure hope Aura gets arrested and pays for her many crimes soon, along with Adrian and Michael. Joshua and Luna need peace with their children....
Joshua is stupid, he says he loves Luna but refuses to tell her the truth thinking he can never recover from all the deceit, if he told the truth he could redeem himself and live a happy life with his family rather than continue to protect a bunch of evil criminals. Terrible decisions by a man who is smart enough to run a multi faceted company....
Omg this author is twisted!! When does Luna catch a break! This is awful. Aurasnd Fiona are evil, evil women and are using the children to commit their crimes 🤬...
And now the author has made it sound like he cares more for Fiona who he has only known a couple of weeks than Luna, his wife, the love of his life. Stupid and pathetically disgusting....
Wow, making Joshua out to be so stupid, ugh. Yes he told this horrible bitch he would accompany her until she died, but she lied about her fake illness so I guess he’ll have to live with her forever! He also promised to love, honor and cherish his wife Luna however seems to forget that with each passing malicious mistress, Aura, Alice and now Fiona. Awful. Let’s get past this into some storyline that involves some happiness for Luna… the only woman who truly cares for and loves him. Get rid of Fiona, soon....
So disgusted with this Fiona storyline, hope it doesn’t last much longer. Joshua told her when they made the deal he had someone in his heart and would not sleep with her. They could be faking a relationship and he doesn’t have to be so nasty to Luna and the kids. It’s heartbreaking and giving him another ridiculous relationship is unnecessary. Just makes more misunderstandings for Luna and harder for her to forgive him....
Joshua is in the wrong, even if Fiona asked him to keep their fake relationship a secret he should have told Luna what was going on. After all, supposedly he lives Luna and the children and is doing this for them. Being deceiving is not working for him....
