Pursuing My Ex-Wife Isn’t Easy chapter 736
With a bang, the door to the office was closed. Luna and Joshua were the only two people left in the room.
Frowning slightly, he turned and sat down in his president’s chair, gazing indifferently at the folder in Luna’s arms. “After being on leave for so long, you have a report to make the moment you return to work?“
“Yes.“ Luna recovered herself, then looked at Joshua tauntingly. “Unlike you, I neither have the time nor the money, or the beautiful woman by my side. I’m just a poor woman with two sick children, of course I have to pour all my efforts into my work.“ With that, she walked forward and flipped open the folder in her arms, placing it in front of him. Then, she said in a cool and indifferent tone, “This is a proposal that I came up with last night. I would like to deal with you.“
Joshua raised his eyebrows, lowering his eyes and flipped through the document on his desk. Then, he opened his mouth and said coolly, “You want me to pay you 6oo,ooo in advance for your labor costs?“
Luna nodded. “I ran the numbers; this is the least amount I need to pay for Nigel and Nellie’s medical bills. You must’ve heard, Nigel found a compatible bone marrow.“
When she mentioned the bone marrow, she paid special attention to studying his expression.
However, his face remained cool and arrogant, without a hint of emotion in his face. As if the fact that Nigel found a compatible bone marrow, that he could now be saved, to him, was not news that was worthy of celebration.
In an instant, Luna’s heart felt as if it had dropped into a thousand -year- old frozen lake. She knew he would be so heartless. But even so , she still found it ironic when his predicted reactions truly appeared in front of her. Just a few days ago he looked like he was worried sick about Nigel, even personally going to Malcolm’s home abroad to bring him back to Banyan City. And she thought he was a loving father, someone who valued his family, and really treasured her children.

The readers' comments on the novel: Will you marry me, My Ex-Wife (Luna and Joshua)
Luna is sooo stupid!...
This story line is sickening… her children, Nellie in particular, do not like Malcolm. She is already married to Joshua, the father of her children who loves her more than Malcolm ever could. Just disgusting....
Another “misunderstanding”…… poor Luna, why can’t she just say the Quinns kidnapped me instead of assuming Joshua is doing the wrong thing. Terrible....
I sure hope Aura gets arrested and pays for her many crimes soon, along with Adrian and Michael. Joshua and Luna need peace with their children....
Joshua is stupid, he says he loves Luna but refuses to tell her the truth thinking he can never recover from all the deceit, if he told the truth he could redeem himself and live a happy life with his family rather than continue to protect a bunch of evil criminals. Terrible decisions by a man who is smart enough to run a multi faceted company....
Omg this author is twisted!! When does Luna catch a break! This is awful. Aurasnd Fiona are evil, evil women and are using the children to commit their crimes 🤬...
And now the author has made it sound like he cares more for Fiona who he has only known a couple of weeks than Luna, his wife, the love of his life. Stupid and pathetically disgusting....
Wow, making Joshua out to be so stupid, ugh. Yes he told this horrible bitch he would accompany her until she died, but she lied about her fake illness so I guess he’ll have to live with her forever! He also promised to love, honor and cherish his wife Luna however seems to forget that with each passing malicious mistress, Aura, Alice and now Fiona. Awful. Let’s get past this into some storyline that involves some happiness for Luna… the only woman who truly cares for and loves him. Get rid of Fiona, soon....
So disgusted with this Fiona storyline, hope it doesn’t last much longer. Joshua told her when they made the deal he had someone in his heart and would not sleep with her. They could be faking a relationship and he doesn’t have to be so nasty to Luna and the kids. It’s heartbreaking and giving him another ridiculous relationship is unnecessary. Just makes more misunderstandings for Luna and harder for her to forgive him....
Joshua is in the wrong, even if Fiona asked him to keep their fake relationship a secret he should have told Luna what was going on. After all, supposedly he lives Luna and the children and is doing this for them. Being deceiving is not working for him....
