Pursuing My Ex-Wife Isn’t Easy chapter 738
She sucked in a deep breath, held the fountain pen, and wordlessly signed her name on the contract. She thought to herself sadly, maybe this was the first time this pen had been used in its entire life? Just like how her utter devotion to Joshua only succeeded in moving herself and no one else.
After completing the signing, she clicked the cap back onto the pen and raised her eyes, glancing at him with detached eyes. “Mr. Lynch, I remember I bought this pen with my prize money. Since you’re not using it, I’ll take it.“
With that, she made to leave but was stopped by Joshua with a hand on her wrist. His pair of black eyes were as deep as the bottomless night sky. He looked at her with narrowed eyes. “You gave it to me as a present. Do you think you can take it back so many years later?“ With that, he plucked the pen out of her hand and held it firmly in his palm.
Luna was surprised, only recovering her wits after he took the pen from her.
She turned, a taunting sneer in her eyes. “Why do you insist on keeping it since you don’t need it anyway? It’s useless to you, but at least with me, it’ll work as a warning. Why would you make it difficult for others?“
“And why would Ms. Luna take away something someone else loves?“ Joshua looked at her with a thin smile on the corner of his lips, then swiftly dropped the pen into the pen holder. This pen has been with me for many years, I won’t be used to it if someone suddenly takes it away.“
Luna frowned and side -eyed him. “It’s just a very old pen. Since you can’t bear to give it to me, just keep it then.“ With that, she turned and left, carrying the folder in her arms.
Joshua stood in his spot, watching as her retreating back disappeared in his line of sight, a bitter smile appearing on his lips.
He sat down in his chair once again, gazing at the pen quietly. The sight of Luna from all those years ago appeared in his mind’s eyes, how excited she looked when she gave him the pen.

The readers' comments on the novel: Will you marry me, My Ex-Wife (Luna and Joshua)
Luna is sooo stupid!...
This story line is sickening… her children, Nellie in particular, do not like Malcolm. She is already married to Joshua, the father of her children who loves her more than Malcolm ever could. Just disgusting....
Another “misunderstanding”…… poor Luna, why can’t she just say the Quinns kidnapped me instead of assuming Joshua is doing the wrong thing. Terrible....
I sure hope Aura gets arrested and pays for her many crimes soon, along with Adrian and Michael. Joshua and Luna need peace with their children....
Joshua is stupid, he says he loves Luna but refuses to tell her the truth thinking he can never recover from all the deceit, if he told the truth he could redeem himself and live a happy life with his family rather than continue to protect a bunch of evil criminals. Terrible decisions by a man who is smart enough to run a multi faceted company....
Omg this author is twisted!! When does Luna catch a break! This is awful. Aurasnd Fiona are evil, evil women and are using the children to commit their crimes 🤬...
And now the author has made it sound like he cares more for Fiona who he has only known a couple of weeks than Luna, his wife, the love of his life. Stupid and pathetically disgusting....
Wow, making Joshua out to be so stupid, ugh. Yes he told this horrible bitch he would accompany her until she died, but she lied about her fake illness so I guess he’ll have to live with her forever! He also promised to love, honor and cherish his wife Luna however seems to forget that with each passing malicious mistress, Aura, Alice and now Fiona. Awful. Let’s get past this into some storyline that involves some happiness for Luna… the only woman who truly cares for and loves him. Get rid of Fiona, soon....
So disgusted with this Fiona storyline, hope it doesn’t last much longer. Joshua told her when they made the deal he had someone in his heart and would not sleep with her. They could be faking a relationship and he doesn’t have to be so nasty to Luna and the kids. It’s heartbreaking and giving him another ridiculous relationship is unnecessary. Just makes more misunderstandings for Luna and harder for her to forgive him....
Joshua is in the wrong, even if Fiona asked him to keep their fake relationship a secret he should have told Luna what was going on. After all, supposedly he lives Luna and the children and is doing this for them. Being deceiving is not working for him....
