Pursuing My Ex-Wife Isn’t Easy chapter 788
Joshua, who was pouring the disinfectant, paused a little.
After a while, he lifted his head and looked at Luna coldly. “You don’t have to put it so harshly. Fiona means a lot to me. It’s only normal that I value her. “
Upon saying that, Joshua pointed to the seat next to him. “Come, sit here.“
Luna bled so profusely that it must have hurt.
This woman only wanted to bicker with him. Did she not care about her pain at all?
Luna did not move.
“Mr. Lynch, didn’t you say that you and I had nothing going on ever since six years ago? Since you and I are just normal superior and subordinate, which superior would help their subordinate dress wounds?“
Luna shot Joshua a fierce stare.
“Mr. Lynch, you got me to come over. I don’t think it’s just to help me dress my wounds, right? Just say what you want to say—don’t beat around the bush. I’m pretty busy, too.“
Luna’s aloof and distant attitude made Joshua somewhat uncomfortable.
He furrowed his brows and coldly looked at her face. “Do you have to treat me this way?“
“This is the normal way one should treat their superiors, “ sneered Luna. “Is there a problem?“
Joshua narrowed his eyes; there was a hint of coldness in his eyes.
After a while, Joshua finally let go of the first aid kit in his hands. He turned, gracefully sat on the sofa, and elegantly crossed his legs. He looked at Luna closely as if he was an emperor.
“I got you to come over here just to reiterate one thing: Fiona is my girlfriend. She is my woman.
She’s here in the office because she’s too bored at home. She chose the design department only because, coincidentally, she has interest in jewelry design, too.“
Joshua’s voice was flat.
“Her health isn’t great. If her emotions get too agitated, she’d be uncomfortable as well. She’s here in the office only to experience life, so I made an exception for her. She doesn’t have to follow the rules and regulations of the company. She can come in late and go back home early, and she can also do a lot of things that others aren’t allowed to.“

The readers' comments on the novel: Will you marry me, My Ex-Wife (Luna and Joshua)
Luna is sooo stupid!...
This story line is sickening… her children, Nellie in particular, do not like Malcolm. She is already married to Joshua, the father of her children who loves her more than Malcolm ever could. Just disgusting....
Another “misunderstanding”…… poor Luna, why can’t she just say the Quinns kidnapped me instead of assuming Joshua is doing the wrong thing. Terrible....
I sure hope Aura gets arrested and pays for her many crimes soon, along with Adrian and Michael. Joshua and Luna need peace with their children....
Joshua is stupid, he says he loves Luna but refuses to tell her the truth thinking he can never recover from all the deceit, if he told the truth he could redeem himself and live a happy life with his family rather than continue to protect a bunch of evil criminals. Terrible decisions by a man who is smart enough to run a multi faceted company....
Omg this author is twisted!! When does Luna catch a break! This is awful. Aurasnd Fiona are evil, evil women and are using the children to commit their crimes 🤬...
And now the author has made it sound like he cares more for Fiona who he has only known a couple of weeks than Luna, his wife, the love of his life. Stupid and pathetically disgusting....
Wow, making Joshua out to be so stupid, ugh. Yes he told this horrible bitch he would accompany her until she died, but she lied about her fake illness so I guess he’ll have to live with her forever! He also promised to love, honor and cherish his wife Luna however seems to forget that with each passing malicious mistress, Aura, Alice and now Fiona. Awful. Let’s get past this into some storyline that involves some happiness for Luna… the only woman who truly cares for and loves him. Get rid of Fiona, soon....
So disgusted with this Fiona storyline, hope it doesn’t last much longer. Joshua told her when they made the deal he had someone in his heart and would not sleep with her. They could be faking a relationship and he doesn’t have to be so nasty to Luna and the kids. It’s heartbreaking and giving him another ridiculous relationship is unnecessary. Just makes more misunderstandings for Luna and harder for her to forgive him....
Joshua is in the wrong, even if Fiona asked him to keep their fake relationship a secret he should have told Luna what was going on. After all, supposedly he lives Luna and the children and is doing this for them. Being deceiving is not working for him....
