Pursuing My Ex-Wife Isn’t Easy chapter 840
As it turned out, even when he was visiting Nigel, a call from Fiona was all it took for him to leave without a single look back.
“Daddy must be busy with work.“ Nellie was worried Nigel would be hurt, so she hurriedly comforted him. “Maybe it’s serious…“ The little girl held her brother’s hand. “Don’t worry, Nigel, Daddy cares about you. He loves you a lot.“
Nigel smiled. “I know.“
Looking at the two children pretending to be tough, not just Luna, but even Anne felt furious. She bit her lip and cursed Joshua out to herself, then patted Luna’s shoulder lightly and tried to comfort her softly.
Luna did not actually need comforting. She saw him for the man he was a long time ago. But…
She looked at the two cute children in front of her and could not help the bout of despair that welled up in her chest. They were just like her in the past, as long as he was slightly nicer to them, they felt as if the entire world was theirs. She was worried the children would not be able to accept it and would be sad and depressed.
Throughout the next week, Luna stayed in the hospital to take care of Nigel. His body did not reject the transplanted bone marrow and was improving day by day.
A week later, he was discharged from the hospital, and the child in him floated to the surface, holding Nellie’s hand as they jumped and hopped into Christian’s car.
Seeing the little guy’s lively movements, Luna could not help but sigh. He was a child after all. No matter how mature he usually acted, when it was time to be childish, he was as childish as any other child his age.
“You can’t expect a six-year-old to act more mature than me every day?“
Maybe he had read Luna’s mind, Christian leaned on the car door and smiled as he looked at her. “ Children should be children.“

The readers' comments on the novel: Will you marry me, My Ex-Wife (Luna and Joshua)
Luna is sooo stupid!...
This story line is sickening… her children, Nellie in particular, do not like Malcolm. She is already married to Joshua, the father of her children who loves her more than Malcolm ever could. Just disgusting....
Another “misunderstanding”…… poor Luna, why can’t she just say the Quinns kidnapped me instead of assuming Joshua is doing the wrong thing. Terrible....
I sure hope Aura gets arrested and pays for her many crimes soon, along with Adrian and Michael. Joshua and Luna need peace with their children....
Joshua is stupid, he says he loves Luna but refuses to tell her the truth thinking he can never recover from all the deceit, if he told the truth he could redeem himself and live a happy life with his family rather than continue to protect a bunch of evil criminals. Terrible decisions by a man who is smart enough to run a multi faceted company....
Omg this author is twisted!! When does Luna catch a break! This is awful. Aurasnd Fiona are evil, evil women and are using the children to commit their crimes 🤬...
And now the author has made it sound like he cares more for Fiona who he has only known a couple of weeks than Luna, his wife, the love of his life. Stupid and pathetically disgusting....
Wow, making Joshua out to be so stupid, ugh. Yes he told this horrible bitch he would accompany her until she died, but she lied about her fake illness so I guess he’ll have to live with her forever! He also promised to love, honor and cherish his wife Luna however seems to forget that with each passing malicious mistress, Aura, Alice and now Fiona. Awful. Let’s get past this into some storyline that involves some happiness for Luna… the only woman who truly cares for and loves him. Get rid of Fiona, soon....
So disgusted with this Fiona storyline, hope it doesn’t last much longer. Joshua told her when they made the deal he had someone in his heart and would not sleep with her. They could be faking a relationship and he doesn’t have to be so nasty to Luna and the kids. It’s heartbreaking and giving him another ridiculous relationship is unnecessary. Just makes more misunderstandings for Luna and harder for her to forgive him....
Joshua is in the wrong, even if Fiona asked him to keep their fake relationship a secret he should have told Luna what was going on. After all, supposedly he lives Luna and the children and is doing this for them. Being deceiving is not working for him....
