Pursuing My Ex-Wife Isn’t Easy chapter 867
A deafening thud echoed through the entire house.
Joshua, who was pinning Luna down against the sofa, slumped limply on top of her right after.
Luna could not help but furrowed her brows upon feeling his weight on top of her. However, since her hands were still tied, she had no way of releasing herself and instead looked in the direction where the noise had come from.
She saw Nellie holding a metal box in her hands, panting heavily at the same time.
It was evident that Nellie had struck Joshua on the back of his head with the metal box.
Seeing that Luna was looking at her, Nellie’s face grew an even darker shade of red. She let out an exhale, then shouted for help at the top of her lungs.
Lily immediately arrived at the scene, along with the rest of the servants. The doctor who Joshua had assigned to look after Nigel stormed downstairs as well to see what was going on.
Everyone worked together to help move Joshua away from his position on top of Luna and laid him down on the couch.
Nigel carefully untied the jacket around Luna’s hands wordlessly. Meanwhile, Nellie put down the metal box and walked over to Luna, then reached out to hold Luna’s hand in silence.
The doctor frowned at this sight. “There seems to be something wrong with Mr. Lynch.“
She walked over and checked Joshua’s face carefully before she turned around to glance at Luna. “Mr. Lynch seems to have eaten some medicine that he shouldn’t have.“
Luna furrowed her brows. She patted Nellie and Nigel’s heads while trying to cover the hickey on her collarbone with her shirt. “What kind of medicine?“
“I need to send it to the lab.“ The doctor poked Joshua’s finger and drew some blood from his wound. “Please give me a moment.“
Half an hour later, the doctor looked up at Luna. “ The results have come out. According to the lab, the medicine that Mr. Lynch took was…“
She paused and glanced at the two children somewhat awkwardly.

The readers' comments on the novel: Will you marry me, My Ex-Wife (Luna and Joshua)
Luna is sooo stupid!...
This story line is sickening… her children, Nellie in particular, do not like Malcolm. She is already married to Joshua, the father of her children who loves her more than Malcolm ever could. Just disgusting....
Another “misunderstanding”…… poor Luna, why can’t she just say the Quinns kidnapped me instead of assuming Joshua is doing the wrong thing. Terrible....
I sure hope Aura gets arrested and pays for her many crimes soon, along with Adrian and Michael. Joshua and Luna need peace with their children....
Joshua is stupid, he says he loves Luna but refuses to tell her the truth thinking he can never recover from all the deceit, if he told the truth he could redeem himself and live a happy life with his family rather than continue to protect a bunch of evil criminals. Terrible decisions by a man who is smart enough to run a multi faceted company....
Omg this author is twisted!! When does Luna catch a break! This is awful. Aurasnd Fiona are evil, evil women and are using the children to commit their crimes 🤬...
And now the author has made it sound like he cares more for Fiona who he has only known a couple of weeks than Luna, his wife, the love of his life. Stupid and pathetically disgusting....
Wow, making Joshua out to be so stupid, ugh. Yes he told this horrible bitch he would accompany her until she died, but she lied about her fake illness so I guess he’ll have to live with her forever! He also promised to love, honor and cherish his wife Luna however seems to forget that with each passing malicious mistress, Aura, Alice and now Fiona. Awful. Let’s get past this into some storyline that involves some happiness for Luna… the only woman who truly cares for and loves him. Get rid of Fiona, soon....
So disgusted with this Fiona storyline, hope it doesn’t last much longer. Joshua told her when they made the deal he had someone in his heart and would not sleep with her. They could be faking a relationship and he doesn’t have to be so nasty to Luna and the kids. It’s heartbreaking and giving him another ridiculous relationship is unnecessary. Just makes more misunderstandings for Luna and harder for her to forgive him....
Joshua is in the wrong, even if Fiona asked him to keep their fake relationship a secret he should have told Luna what was going on. After all, supposedly he lives Luna and the children and is doing this for them. Being deceiving is not working for him....
