Ashley frowned. 

Daphne turned to Mona “Ms. Hardy hurt me before. Although my wounds have healed, I have scars because of it. I still have photos and the report of my injuries. If 1 post them online and tell the intemet what happened, it wouldn’t be an accusation, right?” 

Emelie had never shared that information with Ashley, and the lawyer was taken aback. Then, she looked at Emelie. 

Mona was in Daphne’s grasp, and she was instantly stunned 

However, Enelie was still calm. 

“Sure. Go ahead and post everything. I’m quite famous now, and everyone knows me as the daughter of the man who caused a scene at the hospital. If you bring up the incident again, the internet will find out your family received the heart. They can even find out we both used to work in Cloudex Corporation.” 

Daphne pursed her lips. “So, what?”

Daphne was stunned by what Emelie had said. 

Then, Emelle looked at Cecile again. “I’m not interested in what you’ve said about me online or the reason behind it. By the end of the day, I don’t want to see those posts in your profile anymore. 

“You also need to apologize to me publicly on your account and clear my name. Otherwise, I’ll sue you. I can promise you that.” 

With that, Emelie grabbed Mona’s hand and nodded at Ashley. Then, they left 

As they walked away, Mona was still cursing. “I can’t believe those two are working together! Ah, I know now! There was an account named Daffy with Daffy Duck as her profile picture. That was Daphne! She interacts with Cecile on Instagram the most!” 

Mona immediately pulled up Daphne’s Instagram account and showed it to Emelle. Emelie tookca glance and saw a post that Daphne posted previously. 

“I said you were my gift from the heavens. You said I was your treasure.” 

The picture in the post showed two cups of coffee, and there wasn’t anyone in it. However, there was a hand in the corner of the picture, and the hand had a mole on it. It was William 

Emelie retracted her gaze without feeling anything. Then, she turned to Ashley and said, “Thank you, Ms. Thornton. Sorry for the troubles today.” 

“I’ve wasted half an hour. After a quick calculation. It’ll cost you 30 thousand dollars,” Ashley said calmly. 

Emelie was speechless. 

“However, I’m hungry, and I’m more interested in food than money now. I won’t charge if you can treat me to a meal.” 

Emelie finally realized Ashley was just messing with her. She couldn’t help laughing, “Alright. I’ll treat you both to dinner today” 

When they came out of the restaurant after their dinner, it started drizzling.

Emelie followed her gaze and saw Elias grabbing an adorable young woman’s arm. They left the restaurant together and got into a sports car.
