Melvin hesitated, saying, “Um, this situation. It’s a bit tricky. There are other guests on that floor, and we must consider their privacy too. I can’t just make the call myself, I might have to check with the higher–ups.” 

“You can do that, but just so you know, I can always call the police. Being tailed is a serious matter, and I’m sure they have the power to access surveillance footage, don’t they?‘ Emelie responded calmly. 

Melvinchackled slyly and said, “Well, you haven’t really been harmed, have you? Being called is just your hunch. 

“Even if the police show up, they might not even open a case without solid evidence. And without a search warrant, we’re not obliged to hand over surveillance footage.” 

Emelie responded, “Oh, I see. But yesterday, Mr. Middleton from the 19th floor was on the 17th and almost got hurt by that person”

Lyle suddenly chackled, “Hoven? Emelle Hoven? It’s her.”

“If it’s her, just let her see it if she wants.” 

“Got it.” 

After hanging up, Lyle tossed his phone aside. He dived into the private villa’s swimming pool and enjoyed a couple of laps. 

Melvin returned to tell Emelie, “Our superior said or hotel’s service philosophy is all about putting the customer first. Since you’ve got this request, we’ll make it happen.” 

Emelie simply nodded in response to his grandiose words. 

As the footage appeared on the screen, Emelie leaned in for a closer look. Indeed, there was a man trailing her. 

He had a mask and a cap on. The man was dressed in a loose black hoodie, ndering his figure and face indistinguishable. 

Emelie quickly recorded the video with her phone. 

“This guy came through the secure passage. We’ll tighten security there to prevent any more slip–ups,” Melvin assured her seriously. 

“Is there any way to track down where this man went?” Emelle Inquired 

The start shook their heads and led up another footage. “Once he left the hotel, we last track of him.” 

Since that was the case, Emelle absentmindedly finished up with Melvin and beft the surveillance room

However, Emelie, who hadn’t eaten breakfast, found herself with little appetite as her mind wandered to the masked man’s identity
