Ashton swiftly raised the partition between the front and back of the car. Instantly, the rear space turned into a closed, cramped area. 

As she was pulled by William, Emelie found herself kneeling on the car floor, with the partition behind her and William in front. The confined space left her with no escape route.

His injury hadn’t fully healed, yet he somehow had the strength to restrain her like this.
