Emelie froze in place.

With their faces still close to each other's, William asked, "So, you're allowed to mess with me, but I can't do the same to you?"

Emelie was speechless.

With a cold expression, she flung his hand away and said nothing as she got into the car.

William watched as her car drove off into the distance before glancing down at his fingertips.

There was a smear of her lipstick on them.

He chuckled softly, not bothering to wipe it off. Then, he took out his phone and called Elias.

That evening, Elias took Gusto Fisher to the hot spring hotel for dinner.

Gusto was delighted. "The air here is amazing. It feels untouched by car exhaust or industrial pollution."

Elias smiled. "I knew you liked the countryside, so I picked this hotel out for you. I'm glad that you're enjoying it. They say that the morning air here is even better. How about we take a walk in the mountains after breakfast tomorrow and enjoy a carbon bath?"

Gusto's eyes lit up. "That sounds great."

Elias added, "Shall we get a massage now? The masseurs here are either blind or deaf and mute. The owner has a kind heart and offers them the opportunity to earn a living just like everyone else."

Gusto was full of admiration. "What a good person! I love business owners who give back to society. Who's the owner? I'd like to meet them."

Elias smirked. "I'll find that out for you later."

"Huh? Alright then."

They proceeded to the foot massage room. Two masseurs, who introduced themselves as hearing impaired, arrived to serve them.

As they enjoyed their massages, they casually chatted about renewing the contract.

A few attentive staff brought them desserts and some cocktails. The cocktails weren't very strong, but combined with the relaxing massage, Elias drifted off to sleep without realizing it.

The two masseurs exchanged subtle glances.
