The moment Emelie saw William stepping out in the perfectly fitted wedding suit, she knew that she had done a good job as the head of a luxury brand for the past three years.
Emelie had managed countless haute couture and collections, so she had confidence in her measurements.
She and William had been intimate very frequently in the past week. That only served to help her know about his size more accurately.
The only catch was that the groom and the bride had cried for so long that their eyes were bloodshot. They stared at each other like a pair of red-eyed rabbits.
Fortunately, Mona came prepared. She quickly reached into her purse and pulled out a vial of eye drops.
She said, "Here. Use this. It'll clear up your eyes. I prepared this for myself because I was scared that I'd ugly-cry at your wedding, and it'd affect my looks. I didn't count on you guys using it though."
The eye drops were cooling and worked wonders on clearing up their eyes.
"There! You both look perfect now!" Mona exclaimed.
Then, Emelie and William descended the stairs together.
Yennifer was sitting on the couch in the living room, and the couple bowed and served cups of tea to her.
Yennifer drank it and glanced at William. "I don't know who you are, but I do know your father. He used to be a good man. It's a shame that he was consumed by his obsession and made mistakes one after another. With that said, he's dead. So, all is forgiven."
William was aware that Yennifer was Xander's former wife. When Henry was dying, he learned about his history with Xander.
Henry was obsessed with tearing Xander down for his entire life because Yennifer didn't love him and chose Xander over him.
William merely said, "Allow me to apologize to you on his behalf. I'm sorry."
Yennifer responded solemnly, "There's no need for that. However, I won't forgive you if you mistreat Mandy. It doesn't matter if you say you're sorry a hundred times. You know the kind of person I am. I don't mind raising hell in front of the public. I'd even kill someone if I had to!"
William said calmly, "I will never do anything that would wrong Eme."
It wasn't as if Yennifer wouldn't be able to see Emelie after the wedding, but she couldn't help feeling a sting at her nose.
She patted Emelie's hand and said, "Go ahead."
The groomsmen and bridesmaids helped the bride and groom to their feet.
