Winning Her Heart Back (Emelie and William) novel Chapter 907

The hotel room Emelie and William had reserved boasted a private natural hot spring pool.

Emelie was hesitant to use it because of her pregnancy. Although the attending doctor had reassured her that soaking in hot springs was safe for expectant mothers, she preferred to err on the side of caution.

As such, she sat by the pool's edge and dipped her feet into the warm water where a small table nearby was filled with snacks, fresh fruits, and drinks.

William, on the other hand, was enjoying a soak in the pool itself.

Emelie was replying to messages from friends and family as well as handling some work matters on her phone.

In fact, there was little to manage. Her newly appointed deputy general manager was highly competent and had taken care of everything.

She knew that Emelie and William were on vacation and didn't want to be disturbed, so she handled everything herself. Emelie didn't have to worry and just needed to review the completed tasks.

Emelie felt pleased and decided to buy a few souvenirs for Ashton, such as a set of black tea and tea accessories. Thalassa was known for its black tea.

After she finished her chat with Ashton, she began venting to Mona about William's social media antics when William suddenly swam over from the pool and grabbed her calf.

Emelie was startled and exclaimed, "Don't pull me in without warning."

William wouldn't scare her like that, of course. He chuckled and said, "You shouldn't soak your feet for too long because your skin will wrinkle. Let's get out."

"Alright," she said.

However, just as Emelie was about to get up, William held her ankle firmly. "The pebbles by the pool are slippery. Stay still. I'll carry you."

"I can be careful on my own," Emelie replied.

"Better safe than sorry," William said as he got out of the pool first.

He was wearing tight swimming trunks. His legs, usually concealed by suit pants, were strong and well-defined.

Emelie averted her gaze, feeling a bit bashful despite the fact that they were married.

William returned to the room and emerged again after a short while, now dressed in casual cotton pants and holding a wool blanket adorned with intricate patterns. He draped the blanket over Emelie's shoulders.

Thalassa was also known for its blankets. It would be a good idea to buy a few as gifts.

William gently carried Emelie into the room, placed her on the tatami mat, and dried her feet with a towel. Then, Emelie changed into pajamas and lay down on the bed.

William came over with some essential oils and sat beside Emelie. He mixed the oils and lifted her shirt to apply the oil to her belly with a small brush.

Emelie just lay still and asked, "What's this?"

"It's an essential oil developed by a lab in Glastony specifically for you," William explained as he warmed his hands and gently massaged her belly.

He continued, "It was delivered on the earliest flight as soon as it was ready. I'll apply it every morning and evening from now on. It helps reduce stretch marks and tighten the skin."

Emelie was surprised. Even she herself hadn't thought that far ahead.

William murmured, "You might not be concerned, but I don't want you to sacrifice anything because of this pregnancy."

He couldn't bear to see her suffer and lose anything else. He was determined to take utmost care of her throughout her pregnancy, sparing no expense or effort to make her as comfortable as possible.

Emelie smiled and beckoned William closer. As he leaned down, she touched his forehead. "Did you get a new brain during your surgery? You're so considerate now."

She knew that he had changed significantly, but she was still amazed by how much.

William replied calmly, "Since I'm now supported by my wife and don't have anything else to do, I can devote all my time and energy to loving you. How could I not be attentive with so much dedication?"

Emelie enjoyed William's care. It was just that each time he applied the essential oil to her belly, she couldn't help but laugh.

"It feels like you're baking bread," she said.

William was amused and leaned in to kiss her. The specially formulated oil was harmless to both the mother and the baby, so even if it was accidentally ingested, it was fine.

As William finished applying the oil, his hands naturally traveled upward, finding their way with ease.

Emelie let out a soft hum. She tilted her chin, feeling like she was in a daze.

William said seriously, "One of the oils is for massaging the breasts. It needs to be applied in circular motions and thoroughly kneaded to be absorbed."

Emelie could only respond with a stunned look. The result was that after William's "massage", she had to change her underwear.

William managed to keep himself in check by taking a shower.

When he emerged from the bathroom, Emelie was still on the bed, looking at her phone. As the warm light by the bedside shone on Emelie's face, William swallowed. An idea formed in his mind.

Not only did he want a honeymoon, but he also wanted to take the wedding photos they hadn't had the chance to take last year.

This idea wasn't new. He had been planning it for some time but hadn't discussed it with Emelie. Now, he was entirely consumed by details, with each action meticulously planned.

He walked over to her and kissed her. While she was still dazed, he showed her the itinerary for the upcoming days on his tablet. It included text and pictures, some featuring stunning wedding photos taken at various scenic spots.

Emelie's gaze instinctively lingered on these images, prompting William to casually mention, "This is Goldenleaf. After we've thoroughly enjoyed Ashenfort, we'll go there."
