Displeased, Cedrick gritted his teeth viciously and spat, “The one thing I hate the most is being threatened, Treyton!”

Treyton strode quickly. He immediately saw Jennifer when he reached the entrance. 

Jennifer was wearing a gown for her shoot later that evening. There was a fur–lined cloak draped over her arm. The outfit, when contrasted with her innocent and cute face, made her look exceptionally beautiful. 

She exuded a different style from Gwendolyn’s seductive allure and arrogance. 

“It’s so cold. Why didn’t you wear more clothes before coming out?” Treyton immediately took off his coat and wrapped it around her shoulders before rubbing her palms to warm them up. 

Jennifer felt touched. “Don’t worry, I’m not cold. How is Cedrick doing? Did Gwendolyn say when she’ll be back?” 

“He’s really a pain in the *ss, but it’s fine. I’ve already found a way to deal with him. It’s just that I can’t go back to the villa during this time. Take care of yourself, okay? Kiddo didn’t say when she’ll return either. I’ll keep you company at the villa whenever I’m free.”
