Xander was dragged away by Neville and Swain. The bodyguards that Yael had brought over wanted to stop them, but were not a match for the two at all. 

Yael clenched his fists, suppressing his urge to snatch Xander back. 

After all, it was true that Xander’s words had crossed the line. Now that Cedrick had not truly ceded power yet, he could not stop Cedrick from hitting Xander and had no choice but to watch his son be dragged 

away

Treyton immediately came out to meet her. “Why did you come over?” 

“It’s rare for me to have a day off. Since I was worried about you, I wanted to come and check on you,” replied Jennifer meekly, her head lowered. 

Treyton stroked her head. Remembering what Craig said earlier, he asked, “Have you met Craig before?” 

“No, I don’t know him at all. He speaks so frivolous! That’s really annoying.” criticized Jennifer firmly. 

Upon hearing that she disliked Craig, Treyton heaved a sigh of relief. He held her hands and rubbed them to warm them up. “Are you cold?” 

Jennifer smiled contentedly and shook her head. 

“Ahem!” Kieran placed his fist under his mouth. With a cold look in his eyes, he reminded them, “If you’re going act all lovey-dovey in public, go somewhere else.” 

Only then did realization dawn upon Treyton as he raised his head and looked at the empty balcony on the third floor. 

Cedrick had already returned to his bedroom and closed the windows.

Treyton did not even know when he left Cedrick, who was separated from Gwendolyn, could not see her even though he missed her to bits It was indeed inappropriate for Treyton to show in much affection to his girlfriend there. 

“You men probably can’t take care of Mr. Jenson well. Do you need my help?” asked Jennifer 

Treyton thought about it for a moment, realizing that he would have to take Cedrick to the hospital for surgery later. 

Since Kieran was going to lead the surgery, Treyton would have to deal with all the other trivial matters alone. He was indeed rather overwhelmed. 

“It’s good that you’re here. Both Kieran and I can’t cook well. Since we’ll be busy in these two days, we planned to order food delivery for Cedrick. Now that you’re here, we might need your help to cook some nutritious meals for him after his surgery.” 

“Sure!” 

Their initial plan was to take Cedrick to a hospital in the city in the afternoon. However, Yael’s and Craig’s people had arrived earlier than expected. The moment they left was the moment when surveillance of Harrick Villa was the weakest. 

It was the best timing for the rest to leave.
