Chapter 633 Kieran Is Beaten For Helping Inez
With the scowl on his face deepening. Cedrick pushed Kieran forward. “Take your fiancée away. She keeps clinging on to my wife.”
Kieran let out a sigh as he resigned himself to prying Inez away nicely, “Listen to me, Inez. Let’s go back to our room. Kiddo… has a husband now. She can’t sleep with you.”
Brows knitted, Inez held onto Gwendolyn for dear life. She refused to budge regardless of how hard she was pulled.
While Kieran was left at a loss, Cedrick suppressed his rage. The only reason he hadn’t laid a finger on her was because she was his future sister-in-law.
Comforting Inez in her arms, Gwendolyn gave Cedrick and Kieran a helpless look. “Hubby, Kieran, why don’t you let Inez sleep with me tonight? Can both of you accommodate her once by sharing the same
room?”
“No!”
Cedrick and Kieran exchanged glances before rejecting the suggestion outright.
The two of us? Sleeping together? That’s outrageous! Besides, this trip was supposed to help married couples bond and not improve the relationship between brothers-in-law.
“I can only sleep with you and no one else. I’m sure you don’t want to see me going out the next day with heavy eyebags and looking exhausted, do you, Gwenny?”
Kieran nodded in support. “I, too, will have a sleepless night.”
Not only would it be a torment for the two of them, but the idea itself was also enough to utterly embarrass them.
“But Inez is…” Gwendolyn was torn as she looked at Inez, who was curled up in her arms.
One could tell that the latter was drunk from the reddish tint on her cheeks.
Due to her exasperation from Kieran’s lack of sensitivity during the day, she drowned herself in alcohol.
Glaring at Kieran, Cedrick snapped, “Take your fiancée away right now. If you can’t do it, I’ll be forced to interfere. I’m not someone who can be gentle with other women, so don’t blame me if I end up hurting her.”
Faced with Cedrick’s threats, Kieran naturally wouldn’t allow him to lay a finger on Inez.
“You don’t have to do anything. I’ll carry her back myself.”
Once again, Kieran stepped forward and attempted to separate Inez from Gwendolyn.
“Be good, Inez. You reek of alcohol now. Why don’t I take you back and wash up first? We can come and see Gwendolyn after that, all right?”
Gwendolyn quickly helped his cause. That’s right. You can come back after taking a shower. We’ll bunk together and chat all night.”
Only then did Inez release her grip and allow Kieran to take her away.
After giving Gwendolyn and Cedrick each a look, Kieran was on the brink of saying something but swallowed his words in the end.
Thereafter, he carried Inez back to their hotel room.
“Remember to sleep with me after my shower, Gwendolyn.”
“I will, I will,” Gwendolyn agreed in a cursory manner.
Kieran quickly closed the door behind him, putting an end to the commotion.
Meanwhile, Cedrick was clearly upset over Inez’s attempt to steal his wife from him.
Gwendolyn stroked his face and pacified him with a smile, “There, there, Hubby. It’s getting late. Let’s head back to shower and get some rest.”
Cedrick sulked as he followed her from behind. It wasn’t until they entered the room that he complained, “You’re just too much, Gwenny. How can you even consider sleeping with Inez and forcing me to stay with Kieran?”
With an awkward expression, Gwendolyn tsk-tsked in response. “It was just an idea that I threw out in the open. I wasn’t really serious about it.”
She then walked toward the bathroom, intending to shower and rid herself of the stench of alcohol.
No sooner had she taken two steps than she felt Cedrick grab her wrist. A powerful force subsequently pulled her toward his muscular chest.
Briefly stunned, Gwendolyn could still feel her head spinning when Cedrick pinned her against the wall.
“Hubby?”
