"Don't you have anything to ask me, Juju?"

Julie paused for a moment. What should she ask?

Should she ask him why he broke the promise of waiting until she became an adult? 

Should she ask him why he had to leave the country?

Should she ask him why he had gotten married?

Should she ask him why he had lied to her?

But the courageous and lively girl she had once been had long been wiped away by the years.

Julie struggled against his grip. "L-Let go of me."

When Lucian saw how strongly she was resisting him, he couldn't help but sigh. He was the one rushing things. He released Julie's wrist and shifted his gaze to the finger that was bandaged.

"Does your finger still hurt?"

Julie lowered her gaze and looked at her finger. The bandage had a cartoon design. He obviously carried this around for a little kid.

Instantly, Julie felt asphyxiated again. She wanted to ignore him. 

"Juju." Lucian reached out and rubbed her on the head, giving it a tousle. Sounding rather helpless, he said, “I’m talking to you, jupi. What a rude little kiddo you 

Jolie was a little bit speechless Who was he calling a kid? 

She was not a kid. 

Seemingly triggered by him referring to her as a “little kiddo“, Julle got a little angry and smacked his hand away. 

She used what she thought was the most fearsome glare at him and insisted, “I’m no longer a Little kid” 

Watching the little lad in front of him having a sudden outburst made Leian feel like the lively little girl he once knew was back again. He raised his eyebrow slightly, seemingly in a rather good mood. 

When julle saw him smiling, her anger grew even more Intense. Wanting to ignore him, she reached for the handle, but the door did not badge. The door had been lacked 

Julie tumed her head around toward Lucian and demanded angrily, “Open the door. Let me out. 

Lucian smirked. This liddo had a little temper. He reached over and helped julle open the door 

Once the door opened, Julie got out of the car in a flustered manner and stormed toward the entrance of her campus. She had only taken a step forward when she heard Lucian calling out from behind. 

palie paused, tumed her head around, and rolled her eyes at him before asking in an upset toe, “What now?” 

He strode over until he stood right in front of her. “You haven’t given me your number” 

“There’s no nee-“Before she could even complete her sentence, Lucian immediately handed his phone to her. “Give me your number.” 

Lucian looked like he was not going to let her leave if he did not get her number, so she gave into him. 

After he succeeded in getting her number, Lucian grinned with satisfaction 

He looked at the woman standing in front of him and laughed wantonly. “Our little kiddo’s all grown up now, 

Julle was speechless. This guy must have grown addicted to calling people a little kid. She shot him a glare of annoyance before turning around and heading for the university’s entrance. 

Lucien watched her from behind as she left. He kept his eyes on her for quite a long while until the phone in his hand rang. He glanced at his phone briefly before answering 

“Mr. Fuller, I’ve done the background check and sent the files to you via email. 

Lucian gave a bet answer in an indifferent tone before hanging up. He then tumed around and got into the ear. 

“Mr. Fuller, are you returning to Fuller Mason?” 

“Take me to the compatry. ” 

On the way back to her dorm, julle received a text message from Lucian. “Hey, kiddo, get a good rest tonight. Goodnight! 

palle stopped in her tracks as she stared at the text message for a few seconds. She did not reply and just put her phone away before heading straight for the dormitory. 

When she arrived at her room, she unexpectedly bumped into Megan hille unwittingly frowned. If she remembered it correctly, the doctory for the Dance Department was next door. Whapas she doing here? 

Julie was planning to ignore Megan when she called out to her by her name.

As Megan asked her this question, she was scanning Julie from head to toe. 

Ever since she had gotten back together with Zayn, Megan felt that Zayn no longer treated her the same way as before. Over the past few days, whenever she called Zayn out for a date, he would say that he was busy with work. 

Back when he was pursuing her, he had visited the university every single day to bring her out for a meal. They had only been together for half a month and he had already changed 

jolie just stared at her with a poker face and said, “Sure
