After bidding farewell to Reuben and Grizela, Darrin was about to return to the upper floor of the hospital when a familiar military vehicle caught his eye in the distance. He immediately stood at attention and saluted.
The military vehicle quickly approached and abruptly stopped in front of him. The window rolled down, and Darrin respectfully greeted, "Good day, Madam General."
Then, he walked forward and personally opened the car door.
Cecelia nodded gently. "Hmm."
She got out of the car.
Karl got out of the car from the other side.
Darrin caught sight of Karl following Cecelia and quickly greeted with respect, "Good day, Mr. Gregory."
Karl was now the director of the House of Inspection, and his presence indicated that the entire capital was aware of the situation.
Darrin felt somewhat guilty and apologized first, "Madam General, I take responsibility for this incident. It was my fault for not keeping a close eye on the young master and neglecting matters at home. He almost got kidnapped by OGW again."
Cecelia waved her hand. "It's not your fault. I already have a general understanding of the situation. Let's discuss it while we go upstairs."
She gestured towards Karl. "It's good that Mr. Gregory coincidentally came along. If there's a need for police deployment here, he can conveniently allocate personnel."
Karl extended his hand to Darrin. "You've worked hard."
Darrin felt a bit embarrassed as he shook hands with Karl. He didn't work hard enough; he almost messed things up.
Cecelia walked ahead. "Lead the way to the ward."
"Understood." Darrin immediately led the way.
As they walked, Darrin briefly described the events that had occurred from last night to today. This included Luther saving Alisha and Anderson being attacked. The situation was too complicated to explain in detail, so he just briefly mentioned it.
When they reached the VIP ward, Darrin said, "Let's go to the young master's room first. Alisha just received a sedative and is still sleeping."
Cecelia nodded.
Darrin pushed open the door and reported, "Young Master, Mr. Warner, Madam General, and Mr. Gregory have arrived."
Inside the room, Joyce was lying diagonally on the bed, propped up by the bed's backrest. Luther sat by her side, one hand resting on her abdomen, feeling the movements of their children, while the other hand fed her some porridge.
"They moved, they're moving," Luther's voice was filled with excitement. It had been a long time since he had felt them. Their twin sons were mischievous and often wreaked havoc in Joyce's belly. He pretended to warn them, "No kicking allowed. It makes your mommy uncomfortable. Wait until you come out; I'll teach you a lesson."
Joyce chuckled. "You're so strict; you scared them. Look, they don't dare to move anymore."
The scene was incredibly heartwarming.
Upon hearing Darrin's voice, Luther immediately sat up straight, raised his head, and saw Cecelia and Karl enter together.
He quickly stood up and greeted, "Mother. You're here. I'm sorry for troubling you again."
At the same time, he glanced at Karl and nodded slightly. "You're here too."

The readers' comments on the novel: Wrong marriage and sweet love (Joyce and Luther)
If this is the ending of this story the story then I wish I hadn’t started reading it doesn’t even end right has not closure. To bad these writers don’t put much into their endings....
When will the new chapters come I can't wait any longer...
Very strange ending, is Joyce pregnant again or does she still have remnants of the devil with her. Christian should have apologized and made up with Luther and Felix. Too much violence and twists and turns, once settled, everyone should be happy and healthy....
Omg… can’t you just let Luther and Joyce live in peace with their children….another controversy doesn’t add to the story....
Not again, ugh … just get rid of this disgusting despicable woman...
Hopefully the underground bio lab East523will be found soon and Luther will make a full recovery, Lily will be reunited with the family and all will be good. Otherwise this will be a very disappointing story....
Please don’t make more trouble for Joyce and Luther, they need to have their children and be happy...
Looking forward to Joyce shooting Otis where it will hurt him the most and end his disgusting ways with women. He’s a pig, deserves to lose his “unit”....
Just tell him you’re the one that saved him , not the evil woman and find your beautiful love story together. Quit being a wet blanket, too smart for that....
I hate it when the hero and heroine are made out to be fools for the evil people that wish to steal their lives and live. Hopefully Charlotte is found out quickly and removed. Why should a villain with an illegitimate child reap all the rewards. Terrible....
