A while later, Darrin brought Anderson back.
Karl also came back to the ward.
Cecelia sat for a moment and said, "There's no time to delay. I'll take her back to the Capital while Alisha is still unconscious."
Reassuringly, she added: "On the way, I'll contact the medical team of the warlords to wait at the residence. I'll also bring in a professional child psychologist consultant."
Luther nodded. Naturally he felt at ease with Cecelia. It's just that when he looked at Alisha, his eyes were full of reluctance to part. Cecelia said it wouldn't take long, but who knew exactly how long it would need. He didn't know if he would live to see Alisha recognize him again, and call him Dad and Joyce Mom again.
Thinking of this, his heart twitched. He held Alisha's little hand a little tighter.
Joyce held Alisha's little hand reluctantly, soft and pale. Her heart ached with pain. They had just met and now had to separate again. If it wasn't to protect the twins in her belly, no matter how difficult it was, she wanted to teach Alisha personally.
Anderson also came forward, and the family hugged each other tightly, reluctant to part.
Seeing this, Cecelia couldn't help but look away, her eyes moist.
Karl cleared his throat and said calmly, "It's time to go."
"Okay." Luther steeled his heart and pulled Alisha's little hand out of Joyce's hand. He carried Alisha and walked to Cecelia.
Cecelia held out her hands to take over Alisha and held the soft little Alisha in her arms. "Leave her to me. You take care of yourselves. I'll let you know immediately if there's any good news."
"Mom, thank you for going through all this trouble," Joyce said, already choking up.
Cecelia nodded. Without lingering, she turned and left holding Alisha.
Karl followed after her.
Before leaving, Karl bid farewell to Joyce and Luther, "I'll go first, to the police headquarters. Contact me if you need anything."
"Goodbye," Joyce smiled and waved.
"I'll go send Grandma off. I'll come back up myself in a bit," Anderson slid down from beside Joyce and rushed out of the ward after them.
Darrin asked, "Major, Mr. Warner, we can't go back to the Warner residence. What are the arrangements next?"
"I don't want to stay in the hospital," Joyce looked around. She was very averse to hospitals. Besides, this hospital was only temporarily requisitioned, not their own territory, so the warlords couldn't station guards here long term.
"Let's go back to the duplex penthouse in the city center. There's a helipad on the roof, very convenient," Luther took out his phone. "I'll make a call to arrange it."
"Okay." Darrin agreed. Having a helicopter that could take off at any time was very convenient for him. He could fly a helicopter and depart for the Capital temporarily whenever needed.
Joyce asked, "What about Mr. Arnold? How is he?"
"Nothing serious, just that he's old. The impact to his brain was quite big so he needs a long time to recuperate," Darrin replied. "I just asked the doctor earlier."
Hearing this, Luther said, "Mr. Arnold has dedicated his life to the Warner family. He almost died this time. He should rest well. I'll have someone send him back home and give him a generous pension. His children will all be arranged into big companies so he won't have to worry for the rest of his life."
Joyce agreed, "Mr. Arnold should enjoy his blessings now. Don't hire any servants at home for the time being, just let the regular staff come in to clean. In case any unsavory people take the chance to sneak in recently."
"Okay. Major, I'll arrange your discharge now. Can you handle it physically?" Darrin asked.

The readers' comments on the novel: Wrong marriage and sweet love (Joyce and Luther)
If this is the ending of this story the story then I wish I hadn’t started reading it doesn’t even end right has not closure. To bad these writers don’t put much into their endings....
When will the new chapters come I can't wait any longer...
Very strange ending, is Joyce pregnant again or does she still have remnants of the devil with her. Christian should have apologized and made up with Luther and Felix. Too much violence and twists and turns, once settled, everyone should be happy and healthy....
Omg… can’t you just let Luther and Joyce live in peace with their children….another controversy doesn’t add to the story....
Not again, ugh … just get rid of this disgusting despicable woman...
Hopefully the underground bio lab East523will be found soon and Luther will make a full recovery, Lily will be reunited with the family and all will be good. Otherwise this will be a very disappointing story....
Please don’t make more trouble for Joyce and Luther, they need to have their children and be happy...
Looking forward to Joyce shooting Otis where it will hurt him the most and end his disgusting ways with women. He’s a pig, deserves to lose his “unit”....
Just tell him you’re the one that saved him , not the evil woman and find your beautiful love story together. Quit being a wet blanket, too smart for that....
I hate it when the hero and heroine are made out to be fools for the evil people that wish to steal their lives and live. Hopefully Charlotte is found out quickly and removed. Why should a villain with an illegitimate child reap all the rewards. Terrible....
