After hanging up the phone, Joyce walked out of the bedroom into the living room.
Luther came over. "I seem to have heard you on the phone just now."
Joyce nodded. "Yes. It was a call from Reuben at Rohomes."
"Did something happen?"
Joyce didn't hide anything. She told Luther exactly what Reuben had said to her on the phone. At this point, there was no meaning in hiding things from each other, even if she didn't want him to worry about this anymore.
After listening, Luther was silent for a moment.
He thought and then said, "Although it's risky, I agree with your idea. Although we haven't known Reuben for long, we already owe him our lives. If this is something that must be obtained first, the person who gets it first actually bears the greatest pressure. By comparison, your pressure will be reduced. I think it's worth a try. He should be able to make good use of these blueprints."
Joyce hadn't thought about transferring pressure at all. Luther was still thinking further ahead after all.
She nodded. "I'll have Jude bring over all the relevant design drawings and the computer drawing tablet I use to modify the drawings. I plan to study this for the next couple of days. I've actually been on the verge of a breakthrough all along, just had my mind elsewhere recently. When I took the call just now, I suddenly had a flash of inspiration in my mind. Maybe it can help me solve the puzzles I've had for a long time."
Luther reached out and pinched her nose. "You're the best. I believe you can definitely do it."
Joyce threw herself into his arms and hugged his waist tightly.
"I won't work on any designs today. Today is the weekend. I want to spend it with you. We haven't gone out to relax together for a long time. Is there anything you want to do? We could go hiking, or to the beach, or just walk around downtown..." She snuggled in his arms almost coquettishly.
Luther's heart softened. Joyce had been overly dependent on him recently. He knew what she was worried about. And he was trying to make up for it by spending as much time with her as possible.
"Alright, anything you want," he said. "Or we could ask Anderson."
"Mm, then hold me for a bit first." She said softly.
Luther chuckled lowly by her ear and teased, "Which kind of holding do you mean?"
Joyce's cheeks grew hot. "Oh you, always joking around."
"Is this better?" He said, then swept her up in his arms and carried her towards the bedroom.
Joyce looked left and right. "Isn't it a bit inappropriate in broad daylight? What if Anderson wakes up suddenly..."
Luther laid her down on the bed and leaned over her. "Then you'll just have to keep your voice down later and not wake him up."
"Close... close the door..."
"It's already closed."
"Ah!"
"Shh, quieter, be patient."
"No, it hurts... you're lying on my hair..."
"Sorry, I'll be more gentle."
"Mmm..."
Anderson didn't get up until nearly noon. He had been up late into the night before, working on setting up a new security system with the microcomputer.
When he woke up, he found the living room empty.

The readers' comments on the novel: Wrong marriage and sweet love (Joyce and Luther)
If this is the ending of this story the story then I wish I hadn’t started reading it doesn’t even end right has not closure. To bad these writers don’t put much into their endings....
When will the new chapters come I can't wait any longer...
Very strange ending, is Joyce pregnant again or does she still have remnants of the devil with her. Christian should have apologized and made up with Luther and Felix. Too much violence and twists and turns, once settled, everyone should be happy and healthy....
Omg… can’t you just let Luther and Joyce live in peace with their children….another controversy doesn’t add to the story....
Not again, ugh … just get rid of this disgusting despicable woman...
Hopefully the underground bio lab East523will be found soon and Luther will make a full recovery, Lily will be reunited with the family and all will be good. Otherwise this will be a very disappointing story....
Please don’t make more trouble for Joyce and Luther, they need to have their children and be happy...
Looking forward to Joyce shooting Otis where it will hurt him the most and end his disgusting ways with women. He’s a pig, deserves to lose his “unit”....
Just tell him you’re the one that saved him , not the evil woman and find your beautiful love story together. Quit being a wet blanket, too smart for that....
I hate it when the hero and heroine are made out to be fools for the evil people that wish to steal their lives and live. Hopefully Charlotte is found out quickly and removed. Why should a villain with an illegitimate child reap all the rewards. Terrible....
