When they reached the parking lot, Joyce tucked Kane into the passenger seat and helped him fasten his seat belt. Finally, she got herself into the main driver's seat.
Immediately after, they started the vehicle and left Cloud Creep Karaoke.
Kane instantly sit upright and looked sober up.
While his cheeks were still scarlet, he was clear-headed, his eyes bright, and he was not at all drunk.
Joyce gave him a sideways glance as she looked for an unoccupied spot and parked her car next to the side of the road.
She said with concern, "How are you? Are you okay? Eugene hit you too hard. How dare he kick you. That's too much! Let me see if you're hurt?"
Kane waved his hand, "It's okay, Sister. It doesn't matter. It's just a few kicks, and it's not a big deal."
Yet he looked terrible, and there was sweat on his forehead, "Impossible. Eugene hit you extremely hard, and I saw it. Let me have a look."
She turned on the interior lights and, despite Kane's resistance, lifted the corner of Kane's shirt. She then saw the large bruise on his waist.
She hissed.
"God, you call that okay? Damn Eugene, I really want to teach him a lesson."
Kane put down his shirt awkwardly, "Sister, it's really not a big deal. Who hasn't had a fight back in school? It's really a small thing. I have wound medicine at home and it would be nothing at all after a few days."
Joyce banged the steering wheel in depression.
"I'm sorry get you hurt."
"It's okay, Sister."
Kane endured the pain, and tried to smile, not daring to show it in front of her, "Today, we have done a perfect job and finally got things done."
Although he had doubts in his mind, he did not ask them.
If it's just for the secret base with Otis, what's the need for Joyce to install a bugging program in Otis' phone? Otis had such a position in the military!
Since she chose to do so, there must be a reason why she had to do it.
He wondered if it had something to do with what happened four years ago.
No matter what, he would just help her, and such a minor injury was not even worth mentioning.

If this is the ending of this story the story then I wish I hadn’t started reading it doesn’t even end right has not closure. To bad these writers don’t put much into their endings....

Very strange ending, is Joyce pregnant again or does she still have remnants of the devil with her. Christian should have apologized and made up with Luther and Felix. Too much violence and twists and turns, once settled, everyone should be happy and healthy....
Omg… can’t you just let Luther and Joyce live in peace with their children….another controversy doesn’t add to the story....

Hopefully the underground bio lab East523will be found soon and Luther will make a full recovery, Lily will be reunited with the family and all will be good. Otherwise this will be a very disappointing story....

I hate it when the hero and heroine are made out to be fools for the evil people that wish to steal their lives and live. Hopefully Charlotte is found out quickly and removed. Why should a villain with an illegitimate child reap all the rewards. Terrible....
