“Stormchase has accepted your request.”
Monique heard a Stormchase notification when she was thinking about the man. She checked the address, it was Marriott International. ‘It can’t be.’
Monique was blushing and her heart was beating faster. She took her phone and made a call.
“Hello, this is your Stormchase driver. My car is blue with the car plate number A2219. I’m reaching the entrance of Marriott International soon. You can come out now.”
“Oh, alright,” a woman picked up the call. Her voice was pleasant.
Monique was somewhat relieved. How could she expect that it was him? That was silly.
Monique was right opposite Marriott so she reached right away.
A young and attractive woman walked over after a short while. She had light makeup and she was wearing a white blouse matched with a lilac suit which complimented her tall and slender figure.
“Are you my Stormchase driver?” she asked Monique for confirmation.
“Yes, hi.” Monique gave her a sweet smile.
The woman seemed to be relieved as she got into the car.
“You’re really pretty,” Little Nomi said with a sweet tone as she stared at the woman who got into the car.
The woman only noticed the charming little girl sitting in the front seat.
Her pinkish lips were slightly pouted, her round pinchable cheeks were blushing like an apple in autumn and her large black eyes were twinkling underneath her long, thick lashes. She looked like a little princess from a comic book.
She looked extremely lovable.
“Why is this cute little girl here?” Louise Lou asked out of curiosity.
“I’m sorry about that, this is my daughter. I can’t bear to leave her alone at home at night so I take her with me. She’s a darling, she will not disturb you… Please don’t be mad…” Monique panicked and started explaining because she thought that her passenger was upset.
‘Please don’t make a complaint.’ Monique already received a complaint about this once. Her boss already gave her a warning that she would lose her job if she got another complaint.
“I’m a good girl,” said Little Nomi softly as she nodded. She then stared at Louise and blinked innocently.
“Haha, it’s alright, I’m fine with it. I am actually glad to be in the same car as her,” Louise Lou chuckled. “You are not going to do something immoral to me since you’re a female driver and you have a kid with you.”
She was worried before she got into Monique’s car because there was once when she got into a male driver’s cab after she got off work late. The driver initially complimented her beauty in a flirtatious manner, then he started to put his hands on her. Later on, his behavior got even more unacceptable when they reached a secluded area. It was fortunate that she was able to flee or the outcome would have been horrible. She was still a little traumatized even thinking about it now.
“What?” Monique asked in astonishment, she was a little alarmed.
“There was once when I took a cab after working overtime and the guy who picked me up was a real scumbag. He even tried to touch me. I was lucky to be able to flee.” Louise still had a lingering fear when she recalled what happened.
“These people are f*cking morons.” Monique burst into anger.
She remembered how the drivers’ conversation in the group triggered her just now. Monique loathed men like them.
“Exactly, they are beasts.” Louise gritted her teeth with distaste when she thought about that immoral man from that night.
“No, they’re worse than beasts…” Monique sneered.
“Pfft!” Louise burst into laughter. “Indeed, they’re the worst.”
“What’s your name? I feel like I’ve known you all my life!” Louise asked with excitement.
“I’m Monique Xander, I feel the same way,” answered Monique. She had the feeling that she met a bosom friend.
“Sounds nice! I’m Louise Lou.”
