Then she immediately turned around and poured her a glass of water.
"I'm worried about you, so I want to stay here and accompany you."
Monique smiled and brought the warm water to her mouth.
Grandma had been lying there for too long, and she hadn't eaten for another day. She didn't have any strength in her hands.
Then she took Monique's hand, drank a glass of water, and continued,
"Why are you guarding me, an old woman? The two children are at home. Go back quickly."
Monique didn't let her grandmother lie down. She helped her put a pillow behind her and let her lean against the bed.
"It doesn't matter if the children have Mrs. Lees to take care of them. Besides, Little Nomi has grown up, so she will take care of her brother."
"Besides, Henry is busy with his company, so he doesn't have time to accompany you. It's my duty to take care of you, unless you treat me as an outsider."
Monique deliberately said with a straight face.
At the mention of the two children, her grandmother's face was full of smiles.
Hearing Monique's words, grandma smiled and touched Monique's nose. "You're naughty."
After Monique smiled with her grandmother, she carefully helped her put the quilt on her body.
"You haven't eaten anything for a whole day. Are you hungry now? Shall I ask them to bring the food over?"
Seeing that her grandmother was in good spirits, Monique asked her if she needed anything to eat.
"I don't have much appetite. Forget it."
Grandma shook her head. She was still stuffy in her chest, but she didn't want to eat.
"If you're not hungry, then drink some porridge. Otherwise, your stomach can't stand it. I'll let them keep the porridge warm all the time. Let's drink some."
Monique was just like coaxing Little Frank, discussing things with his grandmother.
Grandma knew that Monique was worried about her and couldn't bear to let her worry all the time. She nodded gently and agreed.
Monique immediately asked someone to bring the porridge in.
Then, she carefully fed Grandma mouthful by mouthful.
After Grandma finished her meal, Monique helped her to lie down again.
Then she went to the bathroom to fetch some warm water to clean her grandmother's face.
"Monique, let those people outside do these. Don't tire you out."
Grandma felt sorry for Monique when she saw how busy Monique was.
